90s Batman Villains As Lego Minifigures

Lego Minifigures From Batman and Batman Returns

The 80s and 90s Batman movies are pure entertainment. The Tim Burton films are wonderfully weird and dark, and the later two film perfected the big budget summer movie formula. Alex TheLegoFan has created a whole set of Batman villains as Lego Minifigures. Each film is separated into groups by their base. The Joker from Batman features the slicked back green hair, and purple suit. You can even find some goo from Axis Chemicals on the base. Batman Returns features Catwoman, Max Shriek, The Penguin all hanging out on an ice burg (accompanied by a few penguins from the old zoo).

Next up from Batman Forever, you can find The Riddler, Two-Face hanging out on a grey/white base. I wonder if they flipped a coin on who would stand where?

Lego Minifigures From Batman and Robin

The last film, Batman and Robin features Minifigures for Mr Freeze, Poison Ivy, and Bane all wrapped up in vines.

Watch How Collectable Lego Minifigures Are Made!

Lego has had many years to perfect how to make Lego pieces. They recently posted a surprisingly detailed video of how a Minifigure is made. Things need to be sorted, printed, assembled, sorted again, and packaged. You can imagine that a lot of machinery needs to be involved. The amount of care, and cleanliness involved is great to see. It looks like you would have a hard time even finding dust in the building. In just one hour Lego can produce 23,000 printed heads, 8,000 finished bodies, and 14,400 legs. That is a lot of Minifigures. So if you have ever wondered how Lego Minifigures are made make sure to check out the video!

You Can See Lego Stars With This Telescope Collection

You Can See Lego Stars With This Telescope Collection

Telescopes come in all sorts of different styles. Some of which are amazingly complicated to get set up. Luis Peña has created a small collection of Lego Telescopes. The perfect accessory for your Minifigures to gaze at the stars. Included in this collection are (from bottom left): a Galileo-type Telescope, Newton-type Telescope, a Schmidt-Cassegrain Computerized Telescope, and a Classic Dobsonian Telescope. Each of these mini builds are instantly recognizable, which is a great achievement working at this scale. It looks like these little amateur astronomers are ready to pull an all nighter. The Minigiures just need a Lego solar system to go along with them.

Lego Twin Peaks And The Black Lodge

Lego Twin Peaks And The Black Lodge

In the small town of Twin Peaks something strange has been going on. FBI agent Dale Cooper is on the case of a mysterious murder. Along the way, there are some weird dreams, larger than life characters, and some damn fine coffee. Throughout the investigation Coop keeps finding himself in The Black Lodge (also known as the red room, and the waiting room). This Lego version is the creation of Dylan Lane. They have recreated the red curtains, modern furniture, and zig zag flooring. The curtains are brick built and look just as mysterious as on the television show. The iconic flooring is made out of a bunch of 1×2 flat place turned up on their sides. This Lego Twin Peaks build also features a handful of characters. Including: FBI Agent Dale Cooper, the Giant Man, the Man From Another Place, Laura Palmer, the Log Lady, and Bob. All of which use official Lego parts.

Explore These Custom Uncharted 4 Lego Minifigures

Uncharted is one of the best video games series on the Playstation. The treasure hunting brothers, the Drakes, get wrapped up in a crazy plot to find the pirate Henry Avery’s treasure. Which eventually involves many other pirates, and a whole host of bad guys. These custom Lego Minifigures based on Uncharted 4 are the creation of RagingPhotography. The group includes all the main heros: Victor Sullivan, Samual Drake, Nathan Drake, and Elena Fisher. Each Minifig is made with official Lego pieces, which the creator has provided a list for. All of the characters feature custom paint work on their torsos. A little bit of blood and dirt has been added too. Hopefully they can find Avery’s treasure, get some rest, and retire from their surprisingly dangerous jobs.

It’s The Final Battle, A Lego MOC

It’s The Final Battle, A Lego MOC

The Hero has finally made it to the end, and is ready for the final battle. An epic fight with a giant, made up of a whole bunch of other Minifigures. “The Final Battle” is the creation of SeanBr1cks, who built this Lego MOC as an entry into the Lego Ideas contest. The giant is the star of this build, and amazingly it keeps the Minifigures shape very well. If you look carefully you can even see it has two eyes. It is also rare to see a brick built background. Here it is a bunch of plates turned up on their side. It works well, and is better than a plain white or grey background. Hopefully our little hero brought an extra life or two, or at least a health potion… he’s going to need it.

Life On Mars With Elon, A Lego Spaceman

Life On Mars With Elon, A Lego Spaceman

There are a whole bunch of “Power Armor” builds out there. Sometimes known as “Exo Suits.” They usually focus on using a lego minifigure head, and then recreating their body out of lego pieces. In the end, creating a type of mechanical looking armor. This MOC is titled “Elon – Life on Mars” and is created by Devid VII. The orange plates mixed with the tan in the background makes a great simple, out of focus Mars. The blue/teal of the spacesuit is a perfect contrast to the orange. And, the white gives the whole thing a very clean future look. Usually these type of lego builds are super fragile, but this one looks sturdy. Lots of clips here.

Cute Mini Vignettes For Lego Minifigures Series 19

Cute Mini Vignettes For Lego Minifigures Series 19

The Lego Minifigures Series are fun to collect. They always look great too, especially when displayed in a group. One of the best ways to show off your collection is to build little mini MOCs or vignettes. These Lego Minifigures Series 19 vignettes are super cute. Created by zaru_soba, they show off all the different figures and create a mini story. The personality of each minifig matches up perfectly with their scene. The video gamer battlestation, the bathtub wave surfer, the dog sitter, and the retro gardener are some favorites. What is great is that these type of MOCs take relatively few pieces to build.

The Lego Batman Movie Minifigure Displays

Sebastian Bachorzewski Lego Batman Movie Minifigure Displays Grodon

Check out these great Minifigures Displays for the Lego Batman Movie Collectible Minifigures. All of these are the work of Sebastian Bachórzewski, who has done a whole series for these Minifigs. Because of their small part count these types of displays, or vignettes, are easy to build. As long as you have the design, and inspiration needed to pull them off well. Here we have Commissioner Gordon, Glam Metal Batman, Harley Quinn, Leisure Batman, and the Joker. All of these little displays are great at complimenting each Minifigure. Helping to create a story for your shelves. Gordon looks like he is on the hunt for the Joker, which should be easy as he is already in jail.  Glam Metal Batman shows off a (complete?) collection of printed guitars, which are hard to find. And, Harley is getting ready to do some doctor stuff.
