Watch How Collectable Lego Minifigures Are Made!

Lego has had many years to perfect how to make Lego pieces. They recently posted a surprisingly detailed video of how a Minifigure is made. Things need to be sorted, printed, assembled, sorted again, and packaged. You can imagine that a lot of machinery needs to be involved. The amount of care, and cleanliness involved is great to see. It looks like you would have a hard time even finding dust in the building. In just one hour Lego can produce 23,000 printed heads, 8,000 finished bodies, and 14,400 legs. That is a lot of Minifigures. So if you have ever wondered how Lego Minifigures are made make sure to check out the video!

Lego Kladno Campus 2015 (4000018) – Employee Exclusive

Radek Foukal's Lego Architecture Kladno Campus 2015 4000018 Employee Exclusive

It looks like Lego has released another new exclusive set. This time an employee exclusive version of the Lego Kladno Campus 2015 (4000018). Kladno is a city located in the Czech Republic and is home of a huge Lego factory known as the Kladno Campus. For the 15th anniversary of its opening Lego has created an architecture style set for the employees. Because, of the exlusivieness of this set, you can only find it on Ebay or other market place stores. So far going for about $150-200!

Interestingly, Lego recently released an exclusive set based on this factory, the Lego Kladno Campus 2012. It looks like the facility has grown a lot since then.

More Lego Simpsons Minifigures Leaked

A week ago the first images for a new Simpsons Minifigures Series were leaked. Based on some prototype Lego pieces it was revealed that Groundskeeper Willie, Dr. Hibbert, and Santa’s Little Helper are coming soon. Now a few more photos of Lego prototypes have been leaked. It looks like we are getting Waylon Smithers, Snake Jailbird, Comic Book Guy, Patty Bouvier, and Professor Frink. That brings the total to 7 and 1/2 Minifigures leaked. That means there are at least another 9 still unknown. There mights even be a few more Minifigs to look forward to with the rumored release of a Lego Kwik-E-Mart set.

Lego Simpsons Minifigures Series 2 (2015) Leaked Images

Lego Simpsons Series 2, Groundskeeper Willie, Production

There have been strong rumors going around that Lego was in production of a Series 2 for the Lego Simpsons Minifigures. There might also be a new Lego Kwik-E-Mart set in production. One of these rumors can now be confirmed. The Lego Simpsons Minifigures Series 2 will be released in 2015, and a few images of their production models have been leaked. No one was sure if the Lego Simpsons Minifigures would make it to Series 2, which was dependent on fan reception and sales of Series 1.

Lego Simpsons Series 2, Dr Hibbert, Production

It looks like The Simpsons theme is a success, and we can probably expect a few more releases in the future. Series 1 left a lot of gaps in The Simpsons character roster. Lego must have a hard time trying to select Minifigs out of the hundreds of characters from The Simpsons. Groundskeeper Willie, Dr. Hibbert, and Santa’s Little Helper will be in Series 2. Hopefully we can get a Moe Sizlack, Waylon Smithers, Carl Carlson, Lenny Leonard, Sideshow Bob, Mayor Quimby… the list goes on and on.
