Chapter 3: The Sin, A Lego Mandalorian MOC

“Chapter 3: The Sin” is the latest creation by @ctr_bricks, and is another entry in their series of Lego Mandalorian MOCs. A recent Star Wars theme that has been exploding with creations. The Sin is a highly detailed city scene filled with aliens, bounty hunters, and smugglers. A very bustling street. Here the Mandalorian is on a mission to rescue Baby Yoda. The planet Nevarro has a lava setting, some of which can be seen peaking out between the stones. Check out some of the little details: the lego dice being used for an electronic box, the various space junk littering the scene, and the interesting curtain/doorway design.

Cute Mini Vignettes For Lego Minifigures Series 19

The Lego Minifigures Series are fun to collect. They always look great too, especially when displayed in a group. One of the best ways to show off your collection is to build little mini MOCs or vignettes. These Lego Minifigures Series 19 vignettes are super cute. Created by zaru_soba, they show off all the different figures and create a mini story. The personality of each minifig matches up perfectly with their scene. The video gamer battlestation, the bathtub wave surfer, the dog sitter, and the retro gardener are some favorites. What is great is that these type of MOCs take relatively few pieces to build.

Lego Star Wars Figures by -derjoe-

Flickr user, -derjoe- has been creating these hilarious Lego Star Wars figures for some time. The proportions and basic geometry work surprisingly well. The “Bounty Hunters ‘Executor Meeting’ ” is a great recreation of that famous scene from The Empire Strikes Back. These guys are built in a “Klotzkopf-Style” which roughly means “Block Head” in english. These have recently appeared in a book titled “Build Your Own Galaxy: The Big Unofficial Builder’s Book”

“Look Sir, Droids!” features one of the most famous scenes from Return of the Jedi.

A great built of Han Solo and Chewie.

And, finally a humorous version of Dagobah Luke and Yoda. Ready to hike through a swamp.

Hail Mary! – A Lego Friends MOC Starship

Hail Mary! is another great entry in the Lego Friends MOC flight genre. There is Mia’s Beauty and Olivia’s Flash, both extremely well made MOCs. Hail Mary is a starship with an experimental design. Having an almost “U” shape, this ship looks like it could be out of Star Wars. The use of the green donut pieces works very well here. The green color gives the impression that Mary is some sort of rogue or bounty hunter. Having two cockpits means that Mary will never have to go alone on a mission. The whole starship looks very impressive.

Lego Friends seems to have found a great place with the rest of the Lego Themes. Showing up in many MOCs and blending in very well. It will be very interesting to see if Lego Friends is here for the long run, so far, it is off to a great start!
