Animal Crossing New Horizons House Lego MOC

The video game Animal Crossing New Horizons has proven to be a popular theme for building with Lego. You start the game on a supposedly deserted island, but soon find yourself being the architect to a thriving community of animals. After upgrading your meager tent into a one room house, your goal is to slowly improve the island. Your main tool is a handy workbench where you can craft hundreds of items. From campfires to bamboo dolls. This Lego MOC is called “Animal Crossing: New Horizons Paradise” and is the creation of Tiago Catarino. They capture all the core features of the island in this scene. A fresh water river, beech (with shells!), apple tree, workbench, campfire, and a house. This build looks great. The house is nice and compact, and uses a really interesting off grid technique to angle the walls. The workbench even has a little Lego Carpenter Square. The scale works well, and seems like it could fit Fabuland figures pretty well.

Upgrade Your Animal Crossing Lego House

Animal Crossing and Lego seem to go together really well. Lego even had an old theme called Fabuland that shares a lot of ideas. The video game has been inspiring some recent Lego MOCs and the newest one is this villager house (レゴどうぶつの森) built by nobu_tary. This little building represents the basic house you get after your tent, but before any upgrades. The clean style from the game fits in well with SNOT building techniques. Some of the nice details include the red roof, the little black chimney, the little mail box (with mail!) and the pattern of the grass. This little set looks like it could be expanded with other houses and buildings, recreating the island 16×16 studs at a time. Believe it or not, this basic 1 bedroom house goes for 98,000 bells!

Take A Boat To This Lego Laguna Domicila

You will need to take the boat if you’re trying to get into this Lego MOC. The Laguna Domicila is the creation of jaapxaap. It has taken a lot of work to finish this one, and it shows. This house is situated on a watery base. It has a very whimsical feel to it, helped by all the bright purple detailing. The roof, door and boat all pop out when compared to the grey and tan structure. A great use of contrast. The Lego building itself is a great mix of sturdy stone structure, and ramshackle wooden details. Achieved by mixing different brown bricks, and making sure not everything is lined up straight. This is the kind of build that inspires stories. Now what kind of person would/need to live here?

A Very Charming Medieval Cottage – Lego MOC

A charming cottage can be warm and inviting, or it can be creepy and haunted. You never know until you knock on that door. This Medieval Cottage Lego MOC is the creation of Paul Robinson. It features a stone foundation and a simple first floor with reinforced door. Above that is a very steep and overwhelming roof with who knows how many floors inside. It is part of the mystery. A precarious chimney, and whether vane finish off the details. The green shingle roof is amazing. Great use of texture and color. One odd detail in the scene is the amount of animals around: two dogs, a cat, and even a hidden baby dragon. Now you just need to decide if you will will knock on the door…

A Lego Tiny House And Classic Chevy Truck

The tiny house is one of those concepts that has universal appeal. With just enough space to live and all the added benefits of being able to move around. It gives you the best of both worlds, a place to settle down and a nomadic lifestyle. What is better then a tiny house. A lego tiny house. Thomas Gion created this MOC. A perfect partner to the little home was also built; a faded green 1970 Chevrolet C10 Truck. The exterior comes with gas tanks and battery hookups, when parked there are even folding supports, a charming yellow door, and a front porch. In the end, this MOC is one of the cleanest builds, there is not one extraneous piece.

The Lego Tiny House can fold open for easier access. Inside is a fully featured and detailed interior. With a tiny kitchen (sink & microwave), a tiny bathroom (toilet & shower), a tiny dinning area (table & chairs), and a tiny loft (bed & window). All built on a 1×6 frame, for a 1×4 interior width. Making this is a very cozy house.

Welcome To The Lego City House Of Culture!

This is the Lego House Of Culture, designed and build by O0ger. It is always an interesting challenge when you take one of those weird ugly Lego Pieces and use them in a new way. In this case, the gigantic wing that comes in sets like the Lego City Airport 60104. Two of these big wings are used to create the roof of the House of Culture. The large whole in the wing, where the rest of the plane goes has been transformed into a neat skylight. Some other details of note include the giant chess set on the patio, a nice looking bus shelter, and some neat benches built into the landscaping. The end result is one awesome architecture themed MOCs.

The Lego Big Bang Theory (21302) Review At Brickset

It has finally happened, the new Lego Ideas #010 set The Big Bang Theory (21302) has been released. If you made it to San Diego Comic Con (SDCC) this year, you were able to get your hands on the new set a few weeks early. As for the rest of the world, we will need to wait until August 1st. The whole thing is made up of 479 pieces and will be priced at $€59.99. This is not a cheap set, and the price per piece is high.

Brickset has posted one of the first reviews of this set (here). The review is full of high resolution photos, and walks you through the basic build process. It is also sprinkled with comments from Alice, who just happens to be a fan of The Big Bang Theory. Make sure to read the whole review!

The Lego Lounge is a Basement in a House Designed for Lego

Finding a place for a Lego collection can be a very difficult task. Every year more and more pieces get added, and eventually (for most of us) they end up in a huge unsorted pile. Slowly consuming a spare room, garage, basement, or office space. Most people never get past the point of sorting their collection into a few drawers and storage containers.

Jeffrey Pelletier, an architect, put his knowledge and skills into creating the perfect space for his Lego collection. His whole house has been designed to accommodate Lego. There are well over 250,000 pieces stored in this collection, and most of them are located in what looks like the most friendly basement ever built. With 9 foot ceilings, a full bar, and a whole room dedicated to building, this is the type of space that adults dream about.

The whole house is located in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle, and was originally built in 1902. After an extensive remodel in 2013, the 3,300 square feet house is a great example of how to showcase your love for Lego. The living space features extensive built-in shelving systems, modern furniture, and super colorful walls. Even the Lego Modular buildings have their own space.

A Vibrant Lego Gingerbread House

Are you looking to decorate your Lego Modular Building collection for the holidays? Do you need a place for Mr. and Mrs. Claus to live? Then this Lego Gingerbread House will interest you. Created by Parks and Wrecked Creations, this Lego Modular Gingerbread House is a work of art. It is one of the most colorful Modular Buildings out there. The roof alone is tiled with 2×2 round pieces in six colors. With domes being used for accents. The use of the printed spiral pieces, the multicolor giant flowers, and the newish star pieces are excellent details. Seen from a distance it would be easy to mistake this for a real Gingerbread House covered in frosting and candy. Just make sure you don’t take a bite out of this one.

Excelsior! A Lego Modular Comic Book Store

Lego has really got something going with their Modulars Buildings. There have been 9 full sets released since 2007, and there are no signs of this theme slowing down. There are credible rumors going around that the next official release will be the Lego Modular Detective Agency. With a release in January 2015. Even with a yearly (roughly) release schedule people can’t get enough of these. There are hundreds of well built MOCs expanding on this theme out there. See the Cafe Corner inspired Lovely Hotel, or Emma’s Place as examples. This new MOC called the Lego Modular Comic Book Store, has been built by SargeantSasquatch. It features a small comic shop, and an apartment above.

This Lego Comic Book Store is built at 16 studs wide (1/2 the normal modular size). It features a red, tan, and blue color scheme. Which is very reminiscent of the famous Cafe Corner. The main attraction is the store. Which wisely uses the recent Lego Super Heroes theme to help populate the shelves. The details are great, with Batmans Wings above the door, Captain Americas Shield in the display window, and even costume hanging on the wall.

Sitting above the comic shop is a fully furnished apartment. Which is similar to the official Pet Shop. The ground floor features a really awesome red sofa and chair. Plus a sleek flat screen television. This spiral staircase leads up to the second floor which is the bedroom.
