Stay At Home, A Lego MOC

Stay At Home, A Lego MOC

This is “Stay At Home” a Lego MOC created by Ryouta. A very simple build with a whole lot of personality. The cute little red crab is built with two 1×1 lego clips, a couple 1×1 cylinders, and 1×1 flat eyes. Just a few bricks, and instantly recognizable. The classic red roofed dog house build is a perfect match for its resident. This is a great example of what you can build with a limited supply of Lego. It is all up to your imagination. Whether or not you can carry your own home on your back, there is no better time than now to stay inside.

The Daisy Hill House – Exterior Update

The Daisy Hill House - Exterior Update

This Lego Daisy Hill House is the design of Sarah Beyer. Who has created a two story modern house perfectly built in the Minifigure scale. The building is surrounded by a lush green landscape covered in white flowers. A perfect yard for the little Lego dog to run around in. This Lego MOC uses a lot of SNOT techniques to achieve its final look. The main windows are all built horizontally, and the exposed studs in the landscaping represent dirt well. The building features a relaxing outdoor patio on the second floor, and comes with two overgrown planters on the first floor.

A lot of work has gone into this build, and that is especially apparent with the interior. All the rooms are fully decorated. You can find more photos of those details over here: http://everydaybricks.com/the-lego-daisy-hill-house/

The Lego Daisy Hill House

The Lego Daisy Hill House Landing

Lego lends itself to modern architecture surprisingly well. The geometric and clean designs can be replicated with SNOT building techniques. A great modern style Lego MOC is the Daisy Hill House created by Sarah Beyer. The actual build is unfinished but some of the interior rooms are done. A bedroom, kitchen, and upstairs landing have been completed. The results are amazing. The landing uses a variety of patterns and geometric shapes. The Lego bookcases look very good, and OSHA would approve of the the railing. The bedroom features a lot of natural light, achieved by building the windows sideways. The plant adds some life to the room.

The Lego Daisy Hill House Bedroom

Downstairs is an open floor plan kitchen. The different patterns on the walls, the windows, and the grid aligned floor all combine well. The sofa is nice and clean, and the houseplants look happy. This modern house would make many a Lego Minifigure happy!

Lego Guitar Practice At Home

Lego Guitar Practice At Home

Stuck at home? Have some free time? No better time to pick up a new hobby, or learn to play an instrument. This Bedroom Guitarist Lego MOC is the creation of Kev.the.Builder. They were inspired by their own childhood experience of practicing as a kid. The guitar practice scene was built as an entry into the Lego Ideas “Music to Our Ears!” contest. The winners of which will be considered for a Product Idea Review. The build features a lot of SNOT techniques with an excellent parquet patterned floor, trim around the door frame, a striped wall, and bedroom furnishings. Apparently the bed took some extra time to get just right. Which after guitar practice will be a great spot to take a break. The bedroom is an excellent recreation of a kids room, it actually looks lived in. But most importantly the dog and chameleon make for a great audience for the guitar player.

Minifigures Are Working From Home Too

Working From Home, Lego MOC

Working from home is becoming increasingly popular. You mostly get to set your own hours while you dress how you want. If you add up all the time spent in the office with meetings, talking at your desk, and taking breaks you might find that you are a lot more productive at home. So what do you do, when you find all your work finished in the first three hours of the day? Play video games, watch tv, make lunch, clean the house, and make Lego stuff. Check out this little Lego MOC, called “ ‘Working’ from home” created by jasoncichon. It is a very clean Minifigure scale desk. The mouse is especially great, as is the flat LCD monitor. All of this and not one stud in sight.

A (Tiny) Lego Tiny House And Classic Chevy Truck

A Lego Tiny House And Classic Chevy Truck

The tiny house is one of those concepts that has universal appeal. With just enough space to live and all the added benefits of being able to move around. It gives you the best of both worlds, a place to settle down and a nomadic lifestyle. What is better then a tiny house. A lego tiny house. Thomas Gion created this MOC. A perfect partner to the little home was also built; a faded green 1970 Chevrolet C10 Truck. The exterior comes with gas tanks and battery hookups, when parked there are even folding supports, a charming yellow door, and a front porch. In the end, this MOC is one of the cleanest builds, there is not one extraneous piece.

Lego Tiny House Interior

The Lego Tiny House can fold open for easier access. Inside is a fully featured and detailed interior. With a tiny kitchen (sink & microwave), a tiny bathroom (toilet & shower), a tiny dinning area (table & chairs), and a tiny loft (bed & window). All built on a 1×6 frame, for a 1×4 interior width. Making this is a very cozy house.

Relax at this Lego Beach House

zaberca's Lego Beach House 2

Summer time is here and a good portion of us will be visiting the beach. Even Minifigures need to take a vacation. This MOC, built by zaberca, is titled Beach House 2. The whole thing was originally designed digitally, but when building it in person the project changed quite a bit. Which is great, because this house is impressive. The house itself is built using a lot of SNOT techniques. Make sure to check out the details on the top floor, which is built sideways compared to everything else. This helps give the structure a distinctly modern design.

The interior is fully furnished, and puts most (real) homes to shame. These Minifigs have style.
