A Lego Mad Max Doof Wagon

A Lego Mad Max Doof Wagon

Mad Max: Fury Road had a lot of iconic scenes and characters, but the most memorable is the Doof Wagon. A massive truck completely covered in speakers and sub-woofers. A crew of drummers in the back keep the beat going but the star of the show is the Doof Warrior, also known as Coma. A bungie-jumping flaming guitar player leading the armada in battle. This Lego Doof Wagon is the work of tfcrafter1. They used a bunch of Lego 1×1 rounds and 2×2 dishes to create the wall of sound. One of the best details is the bungie cord system, built here with that weird Lego rope with Minifigure grips. The whole truck has been recreated, and even includes a whole set of drummers in the back. As for Coma, the Lego Minifigure skeleton head is a perfect match to the character from the film.

Lego Guitar Practice At Home

Lego Guitar Practice At Home

Stuck at home? Have some free time? No better time to pick up a new hobby, or learn to play an instrument. This Bedroom Guitarist Lego MOC is the creation of Kev.the.Builder. They were inspired by their own childhood experience of practicing as a kid. The guitar practice scene was built as an entry into the Lego Ideas “Music to Our Ears!” contest. The winners of which will be considered for a Product Idea Review. The build features a lot of SNOT techniques with an excellent parquet patterned floor, trim around the door frame, a striped wall, and bedroom furnishings. Apparently the bed took some extra time to get just right. Which after guitar practice will be a great spot to take a break. The bedroom is an excellent recreation of a kids room, it actually looks lived in. But most importantly the dog and chameleon make for a great audience for the guitar player.

Punk’s Not Dead… It’s Just Retired

JuliusVonBrunk Lego Punk's Not Dead

Punk’s Not Dead… It’s Just Retired is a wicked cool Lego creation featuring an aging Lego Minifigure. This dude just wants to keep on rocking. The wheelchair is well made, and looks simple enough to replicate for your own displays.

Ground Control To Major Tom — A Lego tribute to Chris Hadfield

John Moffatt's Ground Control To Major Tom, Lego Chris Hadfield

“For here
Am I sitting in a tin can
Far above the world
Planet Earth is blue
And there’s nothing I can do”
— David Bowie

Ground Control to Major Tom is a great Lego Vignette. Jeff Moffatt built this as a tribute to everyone’s favorite musical astronaut. This MOC depicts Commander Chris Hadfield singing Space Oddity (by David Bowie) while on board the International Space Station. The original version is one of the best videos on YouTube.
