Punk’s Not Dead… It’s Just Retired

JuliusVonBrunk Lego Punk's Not Dead

Punk’s Not Dead… It’s Just Retired is a wicked cool Lego creation featuring an aging Lego Minifigure. This dude just wants to keep on rocking. The wheelchair is well made, and looks simple enough to replicate for your own displays.

The Lich King Raised a Lego Sindragosa (World of Warcraft)

BangooH's Lego World Of Warcraft Sindragosa Dragon

Sindragosa is an undead dragon raised by the Lich King from an icy grave in Icecrown. Instantly creating one of the most iconic dragons in the video game World of Warcraft. This Lego Sindragosa is the creation of Bangoo H.  Will the Queen of the Frostbrood achieve revenge? Will Lego Adventurers, Tirion Fording and Darion Mograine be able to stop her in time?

BangooH's Lego World Of Warcraft Sindragosa

Sindragosa is an impressive Lego model. Built almost to the Minifigure scale, this dragon is ready to destroy any challengers. A Lego dragon is a difficult creature to build, but an undead dragon is near impossible. The impression of a skeleton is achieved with a careful selection of grey Lego pieces and various hinges. The internal skeleton relies on Technic pieces for strength without adding too much bulk. The whole thing is finished with a massive wingspan.

A Posable 6x Scale Classic Lego Spaceman Blue

crayonbricks's Lego Classic Spaceman Blue 6x Big

Have you ever thought that the Lego Minifigures are too small? Maybe they could be improved by making them 6 times larger? Well that is exactly what CrayonBricks did with their Classic Spaceman Blue build. This guy could easily be Benny’s big brother. The 6x scale Lego Man (can’t really call it a Minifigure) is fully posable, featuring all the movable joints as the smaller Minifig. This big guy even has the jetpack/air tanks on the back. What exactly are those intended to be anyway? I say jetpack. The only thing missing here is a broken helmet chin strap.

This 70s Style Lego Kitchen is very Retro

LegoJalex's Lego Kitchen From The 70s

Lego can be used to create anything. Most people stick to the Minifigure scale when building. But, when you go slightly larger you can create stuff that looks extremely realistic. This very retro Lego Kitchen looks like it could be at home in the 1970s. Some the details are perfect, the orange kitchen walls, the tile counter top, and old radio. Using the Lego grill piece for the mini blinds is ingenious. As is including the electrical cords for the hanging lamp, and portable radio.

Paradise Lost in this Lego Wonder Woman vs. Ares Vignette

Tim Lydy's Lego Wonder Woman vs Ares

A lot of the DC Comics superheroes have had a lot of attention lately. Especially Batman and Superman. But there are many more that seem not make the jump from comic book to film. Wonder Woman is one of those superheroes. She will finally get her own film in a few years, but until then fans will have to create their own stories. This Lego Wonder Woman vs. Ares vignette is the creation of Tim Lydy. This MOC started out as an adaption of an episode of Justice League titled “Paradise Lost.” Which lead the builder to replace Hades, with Ares (a more famous Wonder Woman villain). Ares is sporting the new helmet from the Hobbit theme.

“The god of war, Ares, has kidnapped the Amazonian Queen Hippolyta—and it’s up to the queen’s own daughter Diana; otherwise known as Wonder Woman; to save her and all of Themyscira from the mighty god’s wrath!”

This Is One Turkey That Won’t Need A Presidential Pardon.

TylerSky Lego Turkey

The Thanksgiving Holiday is almost here. Get ready to eat too much food, watch TV, make smalltalk with relatives, and then go to bed early. You can even celebrate the holiday by building your own Lego Turkey. This little Young Turkey was built by Tyler Sky. Who managed to capture all the defining traits of famous bird. The plumage and head are both extremely well done. And, is a whole lot better then the official Lego version (40033).

Pizza, Pepsi, surround sound, a flat screen TV, a life size Stormtrooper, a Gameboy, a Squishee, and even the most important item: a credit card. This Lego Minifigure is ready to spend days here. There are so many new video games to play. Call of Duty, Dragon Age Inquisition, Assassin’s Creed, Grand Theft Auto V, Farcry 4, Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor, etc. Too bad there is just not enough time to play them all.

The International Hotel, A Cool Lego Modular Building

lgorlando's Lego International Hotel 01

It seems like every major city has an International Hotel. And, it is about time your Lego city got one too. An International Hotel would fit perfectly in the Lego Modular Building theme. The stark white trim, gold accents, and light blue color of this hotel gives this hotel a very regal look. This is the place all the rich Lego Minifigures would stay. There is a lot going on with the facade here. In a lot of ways this Lego International Hotel feels like an official Lego set. The little details, like the white round piece in the windows, the clock, and the grey statues all feel like something Lego would do. Which is a compliment. This is a really cool modular style building.

Lego Lowrider, Flamingo Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme

Alex Jones's Lego Lowrider, Flamingo Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme 01

It looks like the Lego Friends have a new ride, or maybe Homer Simpson upgraded the sedan. Either way this Lego Lowrider is awesome. Alex Jones (Orion Pax) created this MOC titled the “Flamingo Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme.” It is always interesting to see what people can do with Lego pieces, especially those that have a limited color palette. It features a tri-tone paint job (hot pink, pink and purple), with chrome accents and whitewall tires. The car has hot pink wood paneling and the windshield is even transparent pink.  This Oldsmobile has style.

Spring Time Fishing with the Lego Friends

Martin5478's Lego Friends Spring Time Fishing

Now that the Autumn is under way, the Lego Friends are dreaming of warmer days. Specifically those peaceful spring time days, relaxing at a secret fishing hole. What better way then to spend time with your friends. This little creation is the work of Martin5478. This is a great example of integrating the new(ish) Lego Friends with your greater Lego collection. All the little details help tell the story. It looks like the girls are going to enjoy a picnic after this.
