Trucking With A Lego Peterbilt 379

Trucking With A Lego Peterbilt 379, Semi Truck

The Peterbilt 379 truck is one of the most popular trucks ever made. Manufactured between 1987 and 2007, this vehicle was one of the largest trucks ever sold. Besides rolling down highways, the Peterbilt has been starring in films and video games. Most notably appearing as Optimus Prime from the Transformers series. This Lego Peterbilt 379 truck is built by Vladimir Drozd. Like the real life version, this is a huge Lego MOC. The truck features 6 wheels, and a sleeper cab. The shape and details are all spot on. Especially the hood and grill. The various lights and antennae are also well built. The truck also comes with a long trailer. It looks like it is shipping various Lego pipes made out 1×1 round bricks. There is even a spare tire in the back. A lot of interesting features have been included in this semi truck. There is a technic undercarraige, giving the back tires a suspension system that can adjust about 1 brick in height. The hood also opens up to reveal a fully detailed engine. All the better to drive cross country.

This Lego Suicide Squad Trailer Might Be Better Than The Film

Lego Suicide Squad Trailer

Forrest Whaley, Sean Willets, Christopher Gearhart are pretty excited for the new Suicide Squad film. They teamed up to recreate the trailer with Lego. It features custom Minifigures, which look great. Almost everything here is built from official Lego pieces. Even the titles have been recreated with digital Lego pieces. Everything comes together into an exciting 42 second trailer. It might even be better than the film.

The Cake Is A Lie. Lego Dimensions Portal E3 Trailer.

Lego Dimensions Portal Trailer E3

The Cake may be a lie, but this newest trailer is not. During E3, a new Lego Dimensions Portal trailer was released featuring a whole bunch of GLaDOS, Chell, and even a little bit of Wheatley. The gameplay is looking good. With a lot of Portal Gun mechanics being shown off. It looks like other Dimensions characters will be able to play in the Portal levels, including Batman, Homer Simpson, and Gandalf. It is not clear if you can take things like the Portal Gun into the other non-Portal levels. Which, if possible, opens up a whole lot of complicated stuff. Check out the full trailer below, it is pretty entertaining…

Top Gear Season 22 Trailer Has Gone Full Lego

Lego Top Gear Video

It is no surprise to see Lego and Top Gear working together. One of the hosts of Top Gear, James May, built a  full house out of Lego in Surrey. Although it didn’t work out as hoped, millions of Lego bricks were donated to charity after the house was destroyed. Now there is a full trailer for the new season of Top Gear, season 22, animated in 3D Lego. Seeing various cars rendered in Lego, including a 3 wheeler is fun. It works so well that it is a shame that season 22 is not entirely done in Lego.

“The chaps have been turned into LEGO for a new trailer. Stop what you’re doing and watch.

Jeremy is fast asleep, Richard has been cut in half, James has only gone and lost his hair, and The Stig’s body is missing. Suffice to say, then, just another normal day in the world of Top Gear.

In this behind-the-scenes clip, we can reveal exactly what goes on just before the boys appear on your televisual screens to present your favouritest motoring programme in the world. In a parallel LEGO Universe, that is. Yes, the chaps behind the world-renowned sticky bricks have helped us whip up an exclusive LEGO video.”

A Non-Stop Lego Trailer, starring Lego Liam Neeson

Non-Stop Lego Trailer

Non-Stop is about to be released in theaters. Meaning that Liam Neeson will be appearing in two movies at the same time. He is also starring as the Bad-Cop/Good-Cop in The Lego Movie. What better way to celebrate this coincidence then with Lego. This Non-Stop Lego Trailer is the creation of the Brotherhood Workshop, who have been creating great Lego videos for a while now. There is something about the Minifigures (including the hand customized ones) that are enduring.

Even if Non-Stop won’t be a great movie, we at least get a great trailer.

Brotherhood Workshop has also created a scene-by-scene split screen version of the Lego trailer comparing it to the original. These are always fun.

Everything is awesome in the Lego Movie, Behind the Bricks video!

The Lego Movie Behind The Bricks

Lego and Roadshow Films recently shared a behind the scenes look at the new Lego Movie. Titled “Behind the Bricks’ this video is an amusingly animated look at the drama behind the upcoming film. These videos are always impressive because the amount of work it takes to animate a full 4 minutes of video must be insane. Everything about this movie just keeps getting better. Now I’m off to make my own Space Dog and Space Cat…

The Lego Movie: Official Trailer

The Lego Movie Official Trailer

The first full official trailer for the upcoming Lego Movie has been released. The good news is that this is shaping up to be a great film. The sheer amount of detail is amazing. With very specific Lego references that only people who love Lego would know. The best part is that the film looks like it is made entirely out of Lego, every landscape and background object is Lego. No half Lego and half “real world” designs here. Plus it has Batman.

“The original 3D computer animated story follows Emmet, an ordinary, rules-following, perfectly average LEGO minifigure who is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person and the key to saving the world. He is drafted into a fellowship of strangers on an epic quest to stop an evil tyrant, a journey for which Emmet is hopelessly and hilariously underprepared.”

Funcom's Lego Minifigures Online MMO video game

It looks like another Lego video game is on its way. This time it is an MMO style game where you are collecting the various minifigure characters and their powers. “Get ready! The minifigures are coming! Get ready to collect your favorite minifigures, master their unique abilities and bring them out on grand adventures through themed LEGO worlds together with thousands of other players!
