A She-Hulk and Iron Man Team Up

Ben Cossy Lego She-Hulk Iron Man Team

She-Hulk and Iron Man have teamed up to take down the famous Magneto. Amazingly the X-Men are no where to be found. The “She-Hulk and Iron Man Team Up” is an MOC created by Ben Cossy. The fight takes place in a downtown looking area. It looks to be about the same scale as the Lego Modular buildings. Then there is the road, which might have more pieces then the rest of the scene. The overall concept of this Marvel themed build is based on Superior Iron Man #1. In that comic they are fighting against the Teen Abomination. Here, they swapped in Magneto since an Abomination Minifigure was unavailable. A great decision, as it allows the addition of cars into the fight. Also if you look very carefully you might notice that the She-Hulk and Iron Man are unofficial Minifigures.

Lego Comics With The Hulk and Captain America, or “I remember when comics were 30 cents”

monsterbrick's Lego Comics, The Hulk 59

Hulk Smash Lego bricks. These Lego versions of comic book covers are the creation of monsterbricks. The Lego comic book covers are also relief sculptures. Where a 3D image/figure is sculpted in front of the background. In this case it is The Incredible Hulk breaking through the ground, literally breaking out of the background and into your face. This is even more pronounced with the Captain America cover below. These Comic-Bricks (Lego Comics) are extremely fun. The overall design is greatly supported by the typography and logos, which is difficult to replicate with Lego bricks. Here the lettering is using a combination of brick built letters, and custom printed tiles. The end result is great. Check out the custom UPCs, price tags, publisher icons, etc. These are great recreations of their real life comic book inspirations; The Incredible Hulk #59, and Captain America #109.

monsterbrick's Lego Comics, Captain America by Jack Kirby. Comic Bricks 109

Lego has had great success with their Super Heroes theme. It is a little bit weird that they have managed to license both Marvel Comics and DC Comics. Lego has been releasing mostly modern themed comic book stuff. With just a little of the classic or silver-age represented (The 1966 Batmobile). It would be awesome if Lego were to release 1 or 2 sets a year based on the golden-age or silver-age stuff. Imagine all the possibilities with Minifigures based on Jack Kirby, Gil Kane, Steve Ditko, Stan Lee, and John Romita designs.

This Lego Hulkbuster Armor Is Ready To Fight The Hulk

KaLor's Lego Hulkbuster, Iron Man

Most Lego Hulkbuster Armor builds focus on size. Most of them end up towering over the official Hulk figure. Although there is a certain charm to seeing a such a massive Iron Man, having a more proper scale version is awesome. Over on Lego Ideas, Ka.Lor has proposed their version of the Hulkbuster. By not having to design a full pilot cage for an Iron Man Minifigure, Ka.Lor is able to focus on mobility and structure. The end result is a Hulkbuster that is amazingly tiny, yet still incredibly imposing. Some of the details here are great, such at the Lego binoculars being used for fingers, Minifig hands being used for various clips, and even tiny Lego pistols being used to define the chest shape.

“HULK SMASH!” – The Three Incredible Hulks

GilcelioChagas's The Three Incredible Hulks

“HULK SMASH!”

There have been many different Hulk characters in the past few decades. The most notable is the Green Hulk, but the Gray and Red Hulk make him work for his fame. Gilcelio Chagas, over at Flickr, has recently revealed their new Lego MOC. “The three Hulks” are pretty slick Lego figures. The studs for nipples is hilarious. Gilcelio Chagas cleared up some confusion concerning the Incredible Hulks. The Green, Gray, and Red Hulks are not all Bruce Banner, but Joe Fixit (Gray) and General Thaddeus E. “Tunderbolt” Ross (Red). Usually the Hulk walks a fine line with sanity, but leans on the good side of morality scale. Not so for the Red Hulk, who is usually a villain. The more you know…

I like the Gray Hulk.

The Iron Man: Hulkbuster Project

Jonsanpedro's Iron Man Hulkbuster Project

In the Marvel universe every superhero will have to fight the Hulk at least once. Hulk vs. Thor, Hulk vs. Wolverine, Hulk vs. Juggernaut… the DC Comics superheroes are not immune to the Hulk with Hulk vs. Superman, and Hulk vs. Batman. Even Iron Man has had his share of Hulk fights. In such a fight, Tony Stark usually comes prepared and brings out his custom Hulk fighting armor… the Hulkbuster!

Jonsanpedro's Iron Man Hulkbuster Project 2

Jonsanpedro has created a project for an official Lego Iron Man: Hulkbuster set over at the Lego Cuusoo page. The Hulkbuster proposed in this project is an amalgamation of  many suits. This particular version is an exoskeleton that fits over the standard Iron Man armor.

This build merges together two of the most popular Lego themes out there. Iron Man and Mech suits, creating a huge fan base. This Hulkbuster is fully posable with multiple articulation points. Even the little Iron Man minifigure nestles in and become the “head” of the Mech. These details create a build that has a huge amount of charm and personality. Just look at this photo of Iron Man and Pepper Potts…

Lego Marvel Super Heroes Trailer

It looks like a new Lego game is due out this October. This time the theme will be Lego Marvel Super Heroes. The goofy style that TT Games has perfected over this past decade looks like a perfect fit.
