Wolverine Is Taking On The Sentinels Alone

Wolverine Is Taking On The Sentinels Alone, Lego MOC

Years ago Lego was putting out a few X-Men themed sets. But due to some (comic/film) licensing issues most X-Men toys were shelved. Since that time the occasional mutant would show up in other Marvel themed sets. Such as Deadpool or Scarlet Witch. So fans have been creating their own creations. This Lego MOC, called “Wolverine vs The Sentinels” is created by I Scream Clone.

I Scream Clone spent well over a year designing the Lego Sentinels. Finding the perfect balance (literally) so that they could stand up on their own while looking accurate. These giant robots even have some LEDs wired in their eyes and chest. Perfect for detecting mutants at night.

Wolverine Is Taking On The Sentinels Alone, Lego MOC Daytime

The whole scene looks like something ripped straight out of a comic book. The spotlight on Wolverine reminds me of Days of Future Past (issue 141). Wolverine is probably going to have a bad night. The Lego wall separating the characters looks great. Large and imposing, and yet ruined and crumbling. Inside the junk pile you can find skeleton bones, street signs, and other warning signs. All made out of Lego!

From The Last Jedi, Luke Versus Kylo Ren Lego MOC

The big duel from The Last Jedi is when Luke and Kylo Ren face off on the salty planet of Crait. This Lego MOC called “Luke vs. Kylo Ren on Crait” is the work of BlueBrick. The scene features the striking white and red landscape of Crait. There are two main techniques used to make the scene instantly recognizable. The center is built with the bricks turned up on their sides. Allowing for smaller and more narrow details. This is then integrated and hidden by building a border around everything. These SNOT techniques make great display bases. Kylo is a kicking up the salt while Luke is much more calm. A great detail from the film.

Lego Porygon used Seizure! It’s super effective!

Go! PORYGON!

Enemy GEODUDE used TACKLE!

PORYGON used SEIZURE!

It’s super effective!

Pokemon have some of the most interesting creatures. Here we have an anthropomorphic rock fighting an enemy that is completely made up of programming code. Geodude versus Porygon. Porygon is one of those really weird Pokemon, it just doesn’t fit into the game like the others do. Although there are swords, hearts and keychain looking Pokemon, so maybe it fits in just fine. These two creatures are the creation of Julius von Brunk. Geodude makes good use of sphere building techniques, and by using the printed spiral pieces for eyes, ends up having a lot of personality. Then there is Porygon. Maybe the best candidate for Lego. The simple polygon look is easy enough to replicate, and this version is looking good. Did you know Porygon is also the world’s first artificially created Pokémon? Now you do!

The Iron Man: Hulkbuster Project

Jonsanpedro's Iron Man Hulkbuster Project

In the Marvel universe every superhero will have to fight the Hulk at least once. Hulk vs. Thor, Hulk vs. Wolverine, Hulk vs. Juggernaut… the DC Comics superheroes are not immune to the Hulk with Hulk vs. Superman, and Hulk vs. Batman. Even Iron Man has had his share of Hulk fights. In such a fight, Tony Stark usually comes prepared and brings out his custom Hulk fighting armor… the Hulkbuster!

Jonsanpedro's Iron Man Hulkbuster Project 2

Jonsanpedro has created a project for an official Lego Iron Man: Hulkbuster set over at the Lego Cuusoo page. The Hulkbuster proposed in this project is an amalgamation of  many suits. This particular version is an exoskeleton that fits over the standard Iron Man armor.

This build merges together two of the most popular Lego themes out there. Iron Man and Mech suits, creating a huge fan base. This Hulkbuster is fully posable with multiple articulation points. Even the little Iron Man minifigure nestles in and become the “head” of the Mech. These details create a build that has a huge amount of charm and personality. Just look at this photo of Iron Man and Pepper Potts…
