Advanced Suit Spider-Man, A Lego Mosaic

Advanced Suit Spider-Man, A Lego Mosaic

The Playstation 4 Spider-Man video game is one of the best open world video games. The game chose to feature a Spider-Man that is unique to it, by mixing a bunch of previous versions into theirs. As he swings around Manhattan, Peter Parker eventually creates a new Advanced Suit. Which is the version that Ethen T used for his giant Lego mosaic. The whole build is 128×192 studs, which is a lot of space to work with. In another dimension, it is over 5 feet tall. This mosaic uses a few techniques besides the normal mosaic style, the blue and black areas are multi-level greebled patterns. The white logo is made out a bunch of 1×2 grate pieces. Altogether over 17,000 pieces (which is like 6 1/2 modular buildings worth of Lego). Because of the variety of pieces and techniques, this mosaic look different in various lighting situations. Check out a more more dynamic low light version below. Peter Parker would certainly be impressed with this Lego portrait.

I Saw (Lego) Spider-Man Today

I Saw (Lego) Spider-Man Today, A Lego MOC

I Saw Spider-Man Today, is a Lego MOC by Barthezz Brick. The scene features three huge buildings, a few streets, and a whole lot of details. Everything looks weathered, accomplished by using various misaligned and ill-fitting Lego bricks. Giving the whole setting a very New York feel. Especially the more gritty version from some of the comics. There is a lot going on in this build. If you look carefully you can spot Spider-Man, a Sushi stand, Motorcycle, newsstand, and even a saxophone player. Everything has been brought together by the excellent use of custom decals and stickers. Especially the Coca-Cola sign.

Barthezz Brick has even provided a short story, setting the scene:

“The scultz gang robbed their third bank this week. I chased one of the robbers for three blocks when he tore his money bag on W 37th street. He lost more than half of his loot. I doubted, should i secure the money or should i keep chasing the bloke?

I decided to keep track on the scultz gang member, but then all of a sudden i saw spider-man. He came out of nowhere and webbed the guy in the middle of a busy crossroad. It was amazing!! Finally when the police arrived they arrested that son of a b*tch and took him to the nearest police station.

It was amazing to see my childhood dreams came true. Spider-Man you’re my Hero!”

Peter Parker’s Apartment – A Spider-Man Lego MOC

Ben Cossy Lego Spider-Man Peter Parker's Apartment Detail

Peter Parker is just your average teenage Minifigure. Based on his apartment you would never guess his secret. That he is Spider-Man. Ben Cossy has created Peter Parker’s Apartment in Lego. A place for his Spider-Man and Mary Jane Minifigures to hang out. This Lego Studio-Apartment is fully furnished. In the main room you will find a double bed, old tube-style TV, computer, mini-kitchen, and a sofa. Among all the little details you might spot a NES, or Iron Man’s Helmet. All of the little custom stickers up on the walls look great. Off to the side is Peter Parker’s Bathroom. A standard small bathroom, with tub, toliet, and sink. Too bad there isn’t enough room for a shower. Spider-Man must stink after a night out.
