Slaughter Is The Best Medicine – Joker’s Truck

Slaughter Is The Best Medicine - Joker's Truck

Slaughter is the best medicine. A perfect pun seen on the semi truck that Joker has stolen from Hyams Amusement Parks. This “The Dark Knight Joker Truck” is the creation of The Eleventh Bricks. The build has a huge custom sticker on the trailer for Hyams. Huge stickers are not always popular but in this case everything is accurate to the film, and the branding fits in perfectly with this Lego MOC. The semi truck has some nice features too. The off center license plate, and the side mirrors are well built. The sunlight screen/bug protector is another great detail that looks great in Lego. The truck has been built to scale to fit in with the recent Lego Speed Champions theme. Which means that two Minifigs can fit in the cab, side by side. Joker will flip out when he sees Lego MOC.

Terminator 2 Motorcycle Escape Lego Version

Terminator 2 Motorcycle Escape Lego Version

One of the most memorable moments from the Terminator films is the motorcycle escape through Bull Creek. The concrete flood and drainage design of the creek is a perfect location for a truck and motorcycle chase. This Lego version called “Pieces of Cinema 23: Terminator 2: Judgement Day” is built by totallyawesome_me. Who has been building and recreating famous film scenes in Lego. For this vignette they chose to have a brick built motorcycle, instead of the official Lego one. The Harley Davidson has some great details in the handlebars (claws holding pistols) and in the exhaust system. The characters are all recognizable, especially the Terminator and the T-1000. The shotgun is a really interesting build. A pirate style pistol with two Lego bars rubber banded together. The brown plant base as gun fire is great. Altogether it works really well. Can John Connor make it out alive?

It’s Robby The Robot – A Lego MOC

It's Robby The Robot - A Lego MOC

Forbidden Planet is a classic science fiction film from 1956. The film had a character that for its time, was one of the most unique robots. This Lego “Robby The Robot” is based on that character, and is built by j-p-30. This robot is completely built out of official Lego pieces. Lots of hoses and tires went into this build. The technique of folding a tire inside-out is used here for the lower torso area. The smoothness breaks up the tire tread texture from the legs. Giving the robot more contrast between its parts. The glass dome is a Lego cockpit filled with all sorts of tiny pieces to recreate the mechanical face and brain. A few custom stickers helps to lend detail to the control panels. These retro robots would prove popular in all sort of movies, tv, and toys.

The Lego Terminator Will Be Back

The Lego Terminator T-800 Will Be Back

There are so many different types of Terminator robots. You have the tank version, a bunch of different android versions, some are made out of liquid metal or nanomachines, and some are a mix of all the different versions. Now we have a Lego Terminator. This deadly T-800 Terminator was built by Aaron. The finished model is over 500 pieces. Which is enough to give it an amazing range of movement. The articulation in the arms and legs (neck and hands too) gives it a lot of different ways to pose for display. The Lego MOC robot has some fun details. The piston/shocks in the chest area, all the tubes and hoses look great, the red center of each eye, and the pipe based chrome dome looks good. Another great detail is the light tan 1×1 round plate, and the 1×1 round plate with no stud, the two combined create rather believable teeth. I wonder if this Lego Terminator takes a shotgun blast to the chest, if it could rebuild itself? One brick at a time.

The Empire Has Occupied Jedha City – Lego Star Wars MOC

The Empire Over Jedha City - Lego Star Wars MOC

In Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, the Empire has occupied the holy city of Jedha. Sending a Star Destroyer and a whole legion of Stormtroopers and TIE Fighters. Things did not turn out very well for the city. This Lego MOC depicts just that moment. Titled “The Empire Over Jedha City” and built by onecase. The scene contains over over 5,000 Lego pieces. The land has been expertly built up with a huge stack of plates. The color variety and differing shapes is a great way way to recreate the mesa. The whole scene is topped off with a giant floating Lego Star Destroyer. A few well placed transparent bricks do their best at hiding the structure involved to achieve this effect.

Even though the finished build is massive, everything is set in a microscale. With most of the tiny building being done inside the city walls. Check out that skyline. It has mini TIE fighters flying around the jumble of rooftops. The tallest building is actually the Temple of the Kyber, which was one of the most important buildings for the Jedi order. Full of history and a major source of Kyber crystals. Jedha City is what really makes this Lego MOC work.

The Monochrome Lego Black Pearl

The Monochrome Lego Black Pearl

The Black Pearl is the infamous pirate ship captained by Jack Sparrow, of the Pirates of the Caribbean films. All the way back to its humble beginnings the ship was known as the Wicked Wench. Captain Jack would eventually make a deal with Davy Jones transforming the galleon into the Black Pearl. Since then it has been through a lot of adventures. Even ending up inside a bottle for a while. This monochrome Lego Black Pearl is the creation of Henjin_Quilones. It was built as an entry into the Style If Up contest. Where the challenge was to build something with only one color. This Lego MOC is a great build. It is smaller than the official Lego pirate ships, but somehow this one feels just as detailed. The super tiny cannons and rolled up black sails are especially great.

An Afternoon Nap With Lego Snoopy And Woodstock

An Afternoon Nap With Lego Snoopy And Woodstock

A peaceful afternoon nap. Snoopy is an expert at those. He is a dog after all. Too bad Woodstock seems to have other plans, but only if he can wake up his best friend. This Peanuts inspired Lego Snoopy and Woodstock is the creation of Tyler Sky. It also features the iconic red roofed dog house, and a little tree. Snoopy is napping, but he can get up and move around too. His head, arms (feet?), and feet are all articulated and can be posed in lots of different ways. If you look carefully you can just make it out that Snoopy’s nose is a black spaceman/motorcycle helmet. Woodstock is perched in his nest getting ready for the day. This duo was submitted into Lego Ideas, but sadly it did not get enough votes. Hopefully they can wake up and try again someday.

Trying To Find WiFi – A Parasite Lego Vignette

Trying To Find WiFi - A Parasite Lego Vignette

Trying to find a free Wifi signal can take you to some weird places. Even willingly sitting for hours in a small bathroom. This little Lego MOC is based on the recent film titled Parasite, and is the creation of dewback1. The weird split-level tiled bathroom is one of the films memorable locations. The lego 1×1 flat plates are perfectly misaligned. It is quickly recognizable as a basement. Thanks to the small narrow window, and the spider infestation. One of the best details though, is the sock on the ground. A great use of a Harry Potter piece!

Did you miss me? The Mask Lego

Did you miss me? The Mask Lego

The Mask is one of Jim Carrey’s most iconic films. The blend of live action and old style cartoon works. The extremely animated face of the main star is up to the challenge (with a little bit of help from special effects). This Lego MOC based on The Mask, is the creation of Pistash. It is an entry into the MOC Wars 2020. Specifically the “Not The Bees!” category. The build is instantly recognizable, and just like the source, full of bright colors.

This Lego Xenomorph Is On The Prowl

This Lego Xenomorph Is On The Prowl

The Alien Xenomorph is an iconic figure in science fiction. Instantly recognizable, and yet it can blend in and hide almost anywhere on a spaceship. Their standard variants of Egg, Chestburster, Facehugger, and Queen are all terrifying. There is also an interesting feature to them. The Xenomorph can be born with some of the aspects of their hosts. The Dragon Alien (dog), Newborn (human clone), Predalien (Predator), Deacon (Engineer), and the Neomorph (spores). This Lego MOC is the creation of _Zenn, and is called the Prowl Xenomorph. It was created for the Space Jame 2018 as an Extraterrestrial Entry. It captures all the details expected of a Lego Xenomorph. Check out the black Lego hands used for the tail, and the Lego arms hidden inside the chest.
