New Lego Disney Princess Sets for 2015, Including Frozen
Lego has had a massive hit with their Lego Friends theme. They quickly expanded it to include a new Disney Princess theme, and an upcoming Elves theme. The first wave of Disney Princess is currently on shelves, and a second new wave will be released in 2015. This release will include the super popular films Frozen and Aladdin. These new sets will more then likely sell out quickly.
Lego Disney Princess, Elsa’s Sparkling Ice Castle (41062) is based off of the Ice Castle in Frozen and will include Elsa and Anna. There is even a Lego Olaf.
Lego Disney Princess, Sleeping Beauty’s Royal Bedroom (41060) is the smallest set and features the famous spinning wheel.
Lego Disney Princess, Jasmine’s Exotic Palace (41061) is a small set that features Aladdin’s Jasmine and the cutest Rajah. The Gennie’s lamp is also hiding out.
Lego Disney Princess, Ariel’s Undersea Palace (41063) is the big set for the theme. Featuring Ariel, Sebastian, and Flounder from the Little Mermaid.
Usually these Lego Friends, and Lego Princess sets can be found on the “girls” isle at stores. Although some places (like Target) have been placing these with the rest of their Lego sets. Hopefully more stores will do this, as it makes finding these sets a whole lot easier.

Lego Pizza Night Should be Every Night
Nick Sweetman put together this awesome photo titled: “Friday Night Is Pizza Night.” I disagree, every night should be Pizza Night, especially a Lego Pizza Night. Just look at this charming Lego teenage Minifigure, it would make a great addition to any Lego City, or Modular setup. He is so happy to deliver your pizza on time, he doesn’t even properly box it beforehand.

New Lego Minecraft 2015, Minifigure Scale Sets
The Lego Minecraft theme has been one of the most successful lines. The first few Micro World sets capture the spirit and look of the super popular video game, but the tiny Lego pieces and small size were deterrents to the smallest Lego Minecraft fans (and people with large fingers). The good news is the there is a whole new theme for Lego Minecraft coming in 2015. There will be 6 sets in this release, including a super interesting Crafting Box. This new style of playset reminds me of the more imagination friendly Brick Boxes. This is a really interesting direction to explore, and it will more then likely prove to be very popular.
- Lego Minecraft: The Farm (21114)
- Lego Minecraft: The Cave (21113)
- Lego Minecraft: The First Night (21115)
- Lego Minecraft: The Mine (21118)
- Lego Minecraft: The Ender Dragon (21117)
- Lego Minecraft: The Crafting Box (21116)
Official set descriptions for two of these new Lego Minecraft sets have been found:
The Cave (21113)
Venture into The Cave on a dangerous quest for vital resources! Wield the iron pickaxe to dig and battle against hostile zombie and spider mobs. Blast out valuable ores and minerals with the TNT and combine the flowing water and lava to create precious obsidian! When you’re done battling and mining, restore your energy levels with the chest of bread. Proceed with caution! Rebuild the set for more LEGO Minecraft creations! Includes 2 minifigures with assorted accessories: Steve and a zombie, plus a spider
The Farm (21114)
Yield renewable resources with The Farm! You’ll need food to survive, so fence in the livestock and channel the flowing water to nurture the crops. Harvest pumpkins, wheat, sugar cane and carrots. Use the crafting table to create a pumpkin helmet or jack-o-lantern. But watch out for the skeleton with his bow and arrow after nightfall! Rebuild the set for more LEGO Minecraft creations or combine with 21115 The First Night and other sets in the series for an even bigger Minecraft adventure! Includes a Steve minifigure with an accessory, plus a skeleton, cow and a sheep.

Become Legend with Custom Destiny Lego Minifigures
“Guardians are fighting on Earth and beyond. Join them.”
Check out these cool custom Lego Minifigures based on the sci-fi MMO Destiny. Living Legend spent months perfecting these Guardians. They feature unique vinyl stickers, and custom paint work. These Minifigs are ready to destroy their alien enemies, or spend hours shooting wildly into a cave.

The Tumbler, A Lego Batman MOC with Instructions!
Batman’s Tumbler is one of the most iconic vehicles in recent cinema. Lego quickly released a version of their own, titled “Lego Super Heroes Tumbler Chase (76001).” While popular, a lot of fans were underwhelmed by the actual design of the Tumbler. It was small and simple. Lego has recently given it another try with the release of “Lego Superheroes The Tumbler (76023)
.” This one is scaled up larger then the Minifigures, but is extremely detailed. One of the coolest vehicles Lego has released.
But, Lego is still missing a good Minifigure scale Tumbler. Brent Waller has decided to create his own, and best of all has created instructions to build your own. This Batmobile is perfectly scaled for Batman, while preserving the detail and shape of the famous car.
A Lego Ideas (CUUSOO) page was created to support this MOC, and it quickly earned its 10,000 votes. Ultimately Lego announced that this would be “not approved.” But don’t worry, if you have enough Lego bricks at home, you can create your own.

Lego Minifigures Series 12 Review (71007) by WhiteFang
Lego is back with an all new release of their Collectible Minifigures theme. There are a total of sixteen unique Minifigs in the Lego Collectible Minifigures Series 12.
With a recent departure to do some spinoff (The Lego Movie, and The Simpsons) it is good to see Lego pick up where they left off. These new figures will be available in October, although if you are lucky you may find them in stores now. This new series is by far the most detailed, with a whole lot of fancy new sculpts and printing. The only bad news is that Lego has carried over the higher price point that was first used in The Simpsons, $3.99. This feels like the maximum price Lego can sell these for.
One new thing about this release is that every figure comes with a code to activate itself on Lego Minifigures Online.
A super detailed review of each figure has been posted by WhiteFang over on Eurobricks. These reviews have earned their reputation for greatness. You cannot find a better review anywhere. In each box of Series 12 you will find 3 complete sets of Minifigures. Lego seems to be doing a better job of choosing which ones are the most wanted. With the most common being: Video Game Guy (5), Space Miner (5), and Swashbuckler (5). The uncommon Minifigs are: Wizard (4), Battle Goddess (4), Dino Tracker (4), Pizza Delivery Guy (4), Rock Star (4), and Piggy Guy (4). Finally, the rare figures are: Hun Warrior (3), Fairytale Princess (3), Lifeguard (3), Prospector (3), Jester (3), Genie Girl (3), and Spooky Girl (3). The biggest surprise here is that the Princess is a rare figure, with the recent popularity of the Disney Princess Lego theme it doesn’t make sense.
The best thing about these figures is that everyone has a different favorite. As for me, I will spend my time looking for a Gamer (and maybe a Wizard).

The colorfully playful offices of Lego Turkey
Recently Lego Turkey revealed their new office space. Completed in 2014, these offices are located in Mecidiyekoy, Istanbul. Lego has focused on creating a workspace that feels unique while accommodating 23 personnel. The space itself is only 350 m², which works out to be about 3,750 ft². The super colorful space is inspired by Lego products as a way to strengthen the brand identity. The entrance and ceiling make references to the popular Lego brick, while Minifigures have been used on walls and partitions. Photographs of the original Lego employees and manufacturing plant are also used for wall treatments.
“In the office where a dynamic and modern design language has been adopted in general sense, it has been aimed to create venues which are integrated with the corporate identity, have high energy, and where comfort conditions are provided at a high level.” — OSO Architecture

This Lego Comic is Awesome: Pictures In Boxes.
Pictures In Boxes is a great comic, that has consistently used Lego for inspiration. Most Lego comics use photography and it is rare to see an illustrated one. The goofy Lego Minifigures have a certain charm when drawn. Pictures In Boxes has recently “flooded” their site with Lego Superhero (Batman) Comics. Make sure to check them out.
