Nothing like speeding through the desert in a red hot rod. Just don’t break down, the vultures might get to you. It looks like it might be a bit too late for some poor backpacker. This little vignette of Red 66 is the creation of Sylon-tw. Every piece is carefully placed. Check out how slick the engine turned out. The ice-skating blade is a stand out detail.

The old Lego Trolls are interesting. Only their arms/hands move which limits their usability. Lego should articulate the legs, at the very least. Look at the Minifigure compared to these Bigfigures. Even with their limited use, people still find new things to do with them. Check out this Lego Troll by nita_great. It looks ready for a night out with friends. They even posted a photo showing the parts. So you too can dress up your Trolls, or even your Hulks.

The Simpsons and Lego are full of many possibilities. Shannon Sproule has re-created one of the more odd scenes from the animated television show. This Lego futuristic Mr. Burns is based on Rosebud episode, from season 5. The setting is the year 1,000,000 A.D. and Mr. Burns has finally reacquires his beloved stuffed animal, with the help of a robotic dog Smithers.

Lego Artist, RaddingtonFalls has created a few signs in support of the Women’s March in New York City. Where massive amounts of people in NYC and around the globe are standing up for the “protection of our rights, our safety, our health, and our families – recognizing that our vibrant and diverse communities are the strength of our country.”

If it wasn’t for the Pirate business, this Lego Coral Island Sandbar looks like a great place to vacation and scuba dive. Too bad, these Pirates are in the middle of some sort of hostage exchange. I would bet this doesn’t end well. Of course the stand out feature of this Lego MOC are not the Pirates but the island. The underwater part is especially nice. By using the newer pastel colors and putting a transparent blue ceiling the effect of water/underwater is achieved. The use of azure Lego Minifigure hands as some of the coral is perfect. This scene is teeming with Lego sea life.

The Coral Island is also a part of The Tourney, a fantasy role-playing Lego building tournament.
Sometimes Nintendo Game Boys go bad. Throwing cartridges around, and burning through batteries. This Lego Game Bad is the creation of J.B.F. The whole MOC is works well, but the buttons are especially nice. Check out the 1×2 flat bricks wedged between 1×1 wedges. The D-Pad control looks spot on too. The Nintendo Game Bad plays only the worst games, which is no problem. The Game Boy library is full of junk, although it has a few gems. Just make sure to keep it fed with AA batteries.

Lego builder Qian Yj has specialized in building Chinese themed Lego MOCs. One of their latest models is this “Lego Chinese Wind Architecture – Kuang Dian.” It is an amazing study of Chinese Architecture. The facade near perfect. Check out the details such as the trim around the roof, the red lanterns, the various seating arrangements, and the custom signage.
This Lego Restaurant is not a small building, and the interior is fully built. It looks like there are private dinning rooms, booths, a kitchen, and more all squeezed in. Using the 2×4 flat plates for detailing on the walls is a great idea.
This Lego Restaurant is actually based on a real life location. The restaurant is located around the Sanyuanqiao Station in Beijing. If you compare it to the Lego version, you will that almost every detail is represented. The scale is a bit off, but that is typical of Lego projects.

Peter Parker is just your average teenage Minifigure. Based on his apartment you would never guess his secret. That he is Spider-Man. Ben Cossy has created Peter Parker’s Apartment in Lego. A place for his Spider-Man and Mary Jane Minifigures to hang out. This Lego Studio-Apartment is fully furnished. In the main room you will find a double bed, old tube-style TV, computer, mini-kitchen, and a sofa. Among all the little details you might spot a NES, or Iron Man’s Helmet. All of the little custom stickers up on the walls look great. Off to the side is Peter Parker’s Bathroom. A standard small bathroom, with tub, toliet, and sink. Too bad there isn’t enough room for a shower. Spider-Man must stink after a night out.

If you are going to start making models you are going to need the proper tools. Nobu_tary has decided to make their own Model Making kit out of Lego. The most impressive achievement here is just how lifelike these are compared to their real life counterparts. The Lego plies are perfect. What also helps them is the plastic model kit make out of Lego. Looks like it could be some sort of spaceship.
The Lego paint brush is another tool in this collection. Here a Minifigure broom, and Darth Vader’s Lightsaber (from Darth Vader 75111). If you weren’t looking carefully you might not even know these were Lego pieces.
Another tool that a Lego model maker needs, is some tape. Here nobu_tary went with a translucent orange tape (Something like this). All three of these items are a great series of Lego MOCs. If those other Lego Pikachu MOCs were too small for you, then this is the one you have been looking for. Dirk Van Haesbroeck was commissioned by Game Mania, a Dutch video game store, to build two giant Pikachu models. The end product stood 1.5 meters tall, which is just about 5 feet tall. Each giant Pikachu model is built with just over 25,000 Lego pieces. In the end it looks like these models were auctioned off for charity, with one of them going for €3,500, or $3,700. That puts it at 15¢ per piece.
The model is mostly hollow inside, but there is some supporting structure hidden around. In the build video (below) you can see a system of Technic pieces were used to hold Pikachu’s massive tail.
