The Lego Knights Mech, レゴ 軽装型鉄機兵

The Lego Knights Mech, 軽装型鉄機兵 Spear

This is the Lego Knights Mech, or レゴ 軽装型鉄機兵, and is the creation of Moko. The Knight is another great addition to the vast Lego Mech/Robots MOC theme. This mech is a collection of normal Lego pieces and Bionicle. One surprising detail of this build is that the shoulders are upside down Bionicle skulls. Some of those new shield pieces are used in the waist area. This mecha comes equipped with a spear, sword, and shield. Making it ready for any fight. The shield is a giant saw blade, but the sword has a really interesting detail: the guard is an upside down horse armor piece. Even with all the detail, the Knights Mech is still very posable, making it a very dynamic MOC.

This Lego Delorean Is Almost Outatime

Lego Delorean Is Almost Outatime

The Delorean will always be associated with the film Back to the Future. It is one of the most iconic vehicles in the movies. So it makes sense that there are a lot of Delorean Lego builds. The official Lego Back to the Future Delorean (21103) is an excellent version, but it is a little rough. Most people critiqued the way the hood was broken up into two levels of plates and not smooth. This version of the Delorean, by Łukasz Libuszewski is much smoother. It is a normal version of the car, not the time traveling one. The sloping hood here is very well done, but it does leave how it was achieved up to the imagination. It looks like it can only hold one Minifigure, which is the same as the official release (although with a simple mod, you can fit two). This Lego MOC is so well done I want to see it turned into the more famous time machine.

Building The Retro Power, A Lego NES Raspberry Pi

Building The Retro Power, A Lego NES Raspberry Pi with LGR

The Nintendo Entertainment System is an icon in video games. The original NES had some 700 or so games released. Having a collection of the whole library would take up way too much space, and cost way too much money. But the idea of playing every video game in one place is very popular. There is the official NES Classic Edition, which was never as widely available as the market wanted. It also only contained a selection of the more famous games.

The good news is that you can create your own version. A Raspberry Pi system is cheap, and easy to work with. Which is why a whole community has formed with people putting the system in all sorts of old electronics. To create a NES Raspberry Pi the hardest part is finding a shell, or old system to work with. If you have some Lego, you can even build your own.

Here the YouTube creator LGR has put together the Retro Power. A Lego NES Raspberry Pi System. If you have all the bricks, you can even put it together following along with the video. LGR goes through all the instructions and goes over everything from design to final product.

What Is Object-4?

Lego MOC Object-4

Every once in a while you come across something that surprises you. In this case that something is called Object-4, and it is from uran120. This Lego MOC is a bit more complicated than it looks. It is a bit subtle, but right around the mouth the direction of studs change. It helps give this a smoother appearance and a nice flat top. This build is similar to the deeply weird Face Coin Bank. You can find those over here. Weird Lego faces are certainly an interesting theme. I welcome more. I think.

Play Some Games With This Lego Nintendo Switch And Dock + Instructions

Play Some Games With This Lego Nintendo Switch And Dock Instructions

The Nintendo Switch is a phenomenon. It is an almost perfect blend of portability and console. Proving to be the best way to play most video games, especially indie games. The Switch even has a lot of Lego video games. (Lego Worlds, City Undercover, Marvel Superheroes 2, Ninjago Movie Videogame, The Incredibles, Harry Potter, Jurassic Park, Lego Movie 2, and DC Super-Villains. With many more coming!) Making a Nintendo Switch out of Lego is a fun build too. 3DS Animation has provided a few video instructions, showing how to make a Lego Switch, a Dock, and Joycons. Check them out below.

Another Lego project you can build is a working Nintendo Switch Dock. Through the top you can slot the system into the Lego Dock. Then you can attach optional Lego Joycons to finish the illusion. A cool detail is that you can build multiple Joycons in different colors. This build is also from 3DS Animation, who again provides video instructions for the Lego Dock.

The Deadly Cute Arthur And Tristan

Deadly Cute Arthur And Tristan Lego MOC

The deadly cute duo of Arthur and Tristan is the creation of Aiden.Builds. This inseparable pair have each other backs in a fight. The Lego MOC features an anthropomorphized sword and shield. Each equipped with a smaller version of themselves. This build uses some of those Lego printed eye tiles to great effect. The posable arms, and the mouths also helps to give these weapons some personality. This is a great use of the clear bricks, to help hold and display the characters. These two guys look ready to go on a grand adventure, while getting into some wacky hijinks.

The Lego Myriapodobus Is Burrowing In 15 Minutes

Lego Myriapodobus, Insect Bus

Myriapoda is the insect subphylum thats full of squirming centipedes and millipedes. So it makes sense that a Myriapodobus would be a bus/train and millipede combined. This vehicle is designed and built by Vince_Toulouse. There are seven segments in this train which include the cab and the caboose. This train is fully detailed on the inside. There is a dinning segment, and multiple passenger segments. The Lego flexible cables for antenna is great, as are the many Insectoid legs used for propulsion. The gold trim is especially nice here, with the gold rocks, gold lantern, and gold lights on the front. A great contrast to all the green. Make sure to catch this Lego insect train, it is burrowing in 15 minutes!

Is This A Real Coffee Machine Or Lego?

Lego Coffee Brewer

There are so many ways to make a good cup of coffee. Some of the most popular ways to prepare the drink is as a Cappuccino or Latte. A good coffee machine is needed to get the correct amounts of hot water, beans, pressure, and milk. Then there are a lot of moving parts, dials and nozzles to deal with. All of which are accurately recreated with this Lego Espresso Machine built by Breado’s Bricks. The black and chrome Lego pieces match the design of most real machines. But the best detail is the orange brick/light on the front. A great Lego MOC can pass for the real thing, and this coffee machine can certainly fool you at smaller sizes. You can almost smell the coffee.

Christophsis, A Planet From Star Wars The Clone Wars

Lego Christophsis, A Planet From Star Wars The Clone Wars

Star Wars and its universe encompass many many planets. Hundreds of them, and if you count the non-canon “Expanded Universe” it might even be thousands. This Lego MOC titled “Christophsis” is the creation of Elven Ranger. It features a Lego version of one of those Star Wars planets. Christophsis was first depicted in The Clone Wars, around 2008. It is located along the Outer Rim and is a planet known or its huge crystalline forests. This little out of the way location ended up being of huge importance, being the site of many battles. The Lego version is a great 16×16 stud scene. The build feature a great hexagonal floor pattern with bricks laid out on their side. The whole scene also contain blue and green crystals which create a very alien looking Lego MOC.
