“Brick Patrol I” by Peter Fendrik, Lego Star Wars 3D Art

PeterFendrik's Brick Patrol 3D Lego Star Wars by Peter Fendrik

There are a couple of (internet) famous art pieces done involving Lego. One of those is “Brick Patrol I” by Peter Fendrik. This 3D Lego Star Wars render is almost perfect. The composition works well, the depth of field is great, and the color are vibrant. This is how everyone imagines their Lego bricks while building. What really makes this are the two Lego built planets in the background. These Lego Stormtroopers make a perfect desktop background.

Lego Minifigures Series 12 Revealed: A Whole Set Based On The Lego Movie

Lego Minifigures Series 12

Lego Minifigures Series 12 has been revealed. Series 12 has been relatively quite, especially compared to the recent series 11. This set is due out in January 2014. All 16 of the Minifigures are based on the upcoming “The Lego Movie.” A lot of these characters can be seen in the newest movie trailer.

This whole collectible series is full of wacky minifigs, including Calamity Drone, Gail the Construction Worker, Abraham Lincoln, Larry the Barista, Panda Guy, Velma Staplebot, William Shakespeare, Taco Tuesday Guy, “Where are my pants?” Guy, Wiley Fusebot, President Buisness, Wild West Wyldstyle, Hard Had Emmet, Scribbe-Face Bad Cop, Mrs. Scratchen-Post, and Marsha the Queen of the Mermaids. Check out that Octan mug!

The Lego Movie: Official Trailer

The Lego Movie Official Trailer

The first full official trailer for the upcoming Lego Movie has been released. The good news is that this is shaping up to be a great film. The sheer amount of detail is amazing. With very specific Lego references that only people who love Lego would know. The best part is that the film looks like it is made entirely out of Lego, every landscape and background object is Lego. No half Lego and half “real world” designs here. Plus it has Batman.

“The original 3D computer animated story follows Emmet, an ordinary, rules-following, perfectly average LEGO minifigure who is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person and the key to saving the world. He is drafted into a fellowship of strangers on an epic quest to stop an evil tyrant, a journey for which Emmet is hopelessly and hilariously underprepared.”

The (best?) Lego Minifigure Homemade Halloween Costume!

Halloween Lego Minifigure Costume

This might be the best Lego Minifigure costume. This homemade Halloween costume is super cool, especially compared to the official Legoland ones. This Minifig costume was shared by YouTube user, citizenera5er, whose son is going to win a whole lot of costume contests.

Happy Halloween!

Custom Lego Spawn, Al Simmons has never looked better.

GreenPeaToys's Custom Lego Spawn

Spawn is one of the most recognizable super heroes out there. Certainly one of the most famous from the 1990’s. This Lego version of Spawn is uncanny, and keeps the spirit of the original Todd McFarlane design intact. Al Simmons has never looked better. The red cape is the star (as it is in the comic) and the top portion looks great. It would be neat to see Lego start to introduce two piece capes like this. I wonder what a Malebolgia, Angela, the Violator, Sam, or Twitch would look like Lego-ized.
