A Wild Lego Detective Pikachu Has Appeared

A Wild Lego Detective Pikachu Has Appeared

The recent Pokémon film Detective Pikachu was way better than it should have been. A happy surprise, which seems to have started a whole new trend in video game movies. This life-sized Lego MOC of Detective Pikachu is created by alanboar. The build is actually an update to their previous Lego Pikachu. It has been modified by adding a tan detectives hat, and a magnifying glass. This build uses more than 3,000 Lego pieces, and is not completely solid. By making parts of it hollow it saves on the piece count. Having a hollow head might explain why he has amnesia. In the end, can Pikachu find his missing partner?

The Quest – A Lego Video Game Build

The Quest - A Lego Video Game Build

Put on some headphones, pull up a chair, and start up a game. It’s time to go questing. Playing games with friends is one of the best ways to spend your spare time. This Lego MOC, called “The Quest,” is built by Joe. This Lego battlestation features a keyboard, mouse, speakers, and a monitor as seen from a first person view. The video game scene is the main focus, with a group of five friends outside huge castle walls. The brick built sunset is a great background. Then there is the keyboard. If you look you might notice that all the main keys are actually Minifigure legs / pants. A creative use for these pieces (although showing up increasingly in interesting ways). The lego hand is a great detail, and it even features purple nail polish. And, finally, a weird duck model which is a great MOC all on its own.

Lego Perk-a-Cola Machines From Call Of Duty

Lego Perk-a-Cola Machines From Call of Duty

The Zombies mode in the Call of Duty video game series features a bunch of super colorful “Perk-a-Cola” vending machines. There are a bunch of different types and/or flavors available. In the game theses drinks offer little bonus, such as extra life, better accuracy, and more stamina. These Lego “Perk-a-Cola” machines are built by infamousKONVICT. The machines include Quick Revive, Juggernog, Speed Cola, Double Tap, Stamin-Up, Deadshot Daiquiri, PhD Flopper, Electric Cherry, and Mule Kick. Each machine is very unique, with some of the stand out designs being Juggernog, PhD Flopper, and Electric Cherry. They go from very classic vending machine designs, to more slot machine looking designs. If you look carefully you can even see some of the new transparent Minifigure posing pieces.

Majora’s Mask, A Lego Legend of Zelda MOC

Majora's Mask - A Lego Legend of Zelda MOC

Majora’s Mask is one of the most famous items in the Legend of Zelda series. The mysterious mask ends up in the Skull Kids hands. Where it eventually influences the wearer to destroy Termina with the help from an evil moon. This Lego version of the mask is the creation of speedyhead. The build features the colorful mask displayed on a stand. The mask recreates the weirdly hypnotic eyes surprisingly well. With red Lego croissants used to recreate the red outlines. The rainbow colored horns/spikes match the video game too. Leave it to Nintendo to make one of the most evil items so colorful. Just make sure to never put the mask on, maybe it is best if the Happy Mask Salesman keeps it for now.

You Encountered A Lego Shiny Charizard!

You Encountered A Lego Shiny Charizard!

The Lego Shiny Charizard may be the rarest Pokémon of them all. Most Pokémon can be caught easily as long as you know where they are hiding. But, every once in a while you might see a super rare shiny version. These alternate color versions pop up so rarely that you may only catch one or two while playing the video game. This Lego Shiny Charizard is created by Tiago Catarino. They put in around 2,500 Lego pieces into this model. The stand out features are the brick built wings, and the flaming tail. The designer mentions creating an orange version of the Charizard, but only if their YouTube video gets enough likes.

Don’t Look, It’s A Lego King Boo

Don't Look, It's A Lego King Boo

Haunted mansions in the Luigi (and Mario) video game series always seem to be infested with Boos. These poltergeists are actually really shy, and cannot stand to be looked at. But, one Boo in particular has a bit more courage than the rest. This Lego King Boo is created by Vaionaut, who built this little MOC as an entry in the RogueOlympics. He features his trademark crown, and lazy tongue. This King Boo has a tongue that is actually an old style Minifigure cape, his scepter is a Sonic Screwdriver, and even has a One Ring crowning his… crown. So grab a vacuum cleaner and find some courage, this boss is ready to fight.

Animal Crossing New Horizons Lego MOC

Animal Crossing New Horizons House Lego MOC

The video game Animal Crossing New Horizons has proven to be a popular theme for building with Lego. You start the game on a supposedly deserted island, but soon find yourself being the architect to a thriving community of animals. After upgrading your meager tent into a one room house, your goal is to slowly improve the island. Your main tool is a handy workbench where you can craft hundreds of items. From campfires to bamboo dolls. This Lego MOC is called “Animal Crossing: New Horizons Paradise” and is the creation of Tiago Catarino. They capture all the core features of the island in this scene. A fresh water river, beech (with shells!), apple tree, workbench, campfire, and a house. This build looks great. The house is nice and compact, and uses a really interesting off grid technique to angle the walls. The workbench even has a little Lego Carpenter Square. The scale works well, and seems like it could fit Fabuland figures pretty well.

Explore These Custom Uncharted 4 Lego Minifigures

Explore These Custom Uncharted 4 Lego Minifigures

Uncharted is one of the best video games series on the Playstation. The treasure hunting brothers, the Drakes, get wrapped up in a crazy plot to find the pirate Henry Avery’s treasure. Which eventually involves many other pirates, and a whole host of bad guys. These custom Lego Minifigures based on Uncharted 4 are the creation of RagingPhotography. The group includes all the main heros: Victor Sullivan, Samual Drake, Nathan Drake, and Elena Fisher. Each Minifig is made with official Lego pieces, which the creator has provided a list for. All of the characters feature custom paint work on their torsos. A little bit of blood and dirt has been added too. Hopefully they can find Avery’s treasure, get some rest, and retire from their surprisingly dangerous jobs.

Lots Of Loot In This Fortnite Llama

Lots Of Loot In This Fortnite Llama - Lego MOC

Grab a weapon, its time to find out what is inside this Fornite Llama. This rare and elusive llama contains some of the best items on the island. But be careful, everyone around will be hunting for their chance at some loot. Some people might even find it a good opportunity to set a trap to take out some of their competition. This Lego Fortnite Llama is the creation of Pistash. The Llamas have been embraced as the video games mascot, and are instantly recognizable to fans. The underbite, the colors, and the giant eyes of this Lego build are just like the virtual version. This llama is spot on. The lootbox even contains a padlock and keyhole. This Lego MOC has used a lot of 1×1 wedges and small slopes to create the papier-mâché fur. The end result is the best feature of this design. I have a feeling that all the loot inside this piñata is made out of Lego.

Upgrade Your Animal Crossing Lego House

Upgrade Your Animal Crossing Lego House - レゴ どうぶつの森

Animal Crossing and Lego seem to go together really well. Lego even had an old theme called Fabuland that shares a lot of ideas. The video game has been inspiring some recent Lego MOCs and the newest one is this villager house (レゴ どうぶつの森) built by nobu_tary. This little building represents the basic house you get after your tent, but before any upgrades. The clean style from the game fits in well with SNOT building techniques. Some of the nice details include the red roof, the little black chimney, the little mail box (with mail!) and the pattern of the grass. This little set looks like it could be expanded with other houses and buildings, recreating the island 16×16 studs at a time. Believe it or not, this basic 1 bedroom house goes for 98,000 bells!
