The Lego Horizon Destroyer Is Hiding A Secret

The “Destroyer Horizon” is a Lego Starfighter created by ZCerberus. It is a massive build that uses a lot of orange pieces. A relatively rare color in the world of Lego. In addition to the general color choices, the brown stripes look great. Designed with SNOT techniques you would be hard pressed to find any exposed studs. While this Starfighter is patrolling outer space the crew can keep themselves entertained. This creation is hiding a huge secret. Packed into every open space in the interior is a full gaming PC. The ship can transform and reveal a built-in 1080p LCD screen. Powering the ship is a SFX Power Supply, Ryzen 2400G Processor, an B450 ITX Motherboard, and multiple fans. There is even a completely hidden power button along the bottom. The end result is an impressive rig, especially since it has to fit into a Lego MOC. A perfect creation to play Homeworld, Star Citizen, and the new Lego Star Wars game.

The City Center, A Cyberpunk 2077 Lego Build

Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most anticipated video games of the year. The dystopian futuristic setting is a perfect location for Lego creations. The closest we will see Lego get to an official cyberpunk theme is some of the recent Ninjago sets. A dense city, an assault of advertising, wild technology, and the crazy future fashion are what make this an interesting theme. The upcoming game promises a lot of ultra violence, complicated moral choices, and a huge open city. One of the most unique ideas in 2077 is daytime. Usually Cyberpunk is set in the deepest of night. The sun promises to shine a spotlight on everything going on. This Lego MOC is called “Cyberpunk 2077 City Center” and is created by Alex TheLegoFan. Everything is built with Lego, all the printed bricks and stickers are official pieces. This small vignette captures everything that makes Cyberpunk great. There are some real interesting Minifigures walking around, can you identify where each piece comes from? I can spot Widowmaker hair!

Spyro The Dragon Lego Build

The Spyro the Dragon video game was first released in 1998 on the Playstation. One of the best platformers of that generation, and often found on demo discs. Recently Spyro has seen a resurgence in popularity with the remake of original trilogy of games called Spyro Reignited. The little purple dragon is unbelievably cute. This Spyro the Dragon Lego build is created by Marin Stipkovic. Usually a Lego model has to be less detailed than its inspiration. But in this case, the model is more detailed and less blocky than the Playstation original. Spyro has a full range of motion, with fully posable feet, wings, mouth, and tail. The horns being built with Technic pieces is a great solution, and the brick built wings look great.

A Lego Link BrickHeadz

This Lego Link BrickHeadz style figure is created by Andrés Bevilacqua. The blocky figure works well with Link, probably because his original design came from 8-bit graphics in The Legend of Zelda. With a sword and shield he looks ready to go on an epic quest. The hat is a great shape and instantly recognizable, it also looks like it fits on his head. A lot of times hats end up looking like they are just set on top. The studs being exposed for the hair is a great detail. Giving Link that trademark voluminous hair. There are even the pointy elf ears sticking out from the hair. Seeing this BrickHeadz figure makes me want to see all the other classic Nintendo characters in Lego. Imagine a Lego BrickHeadz Donkey Kong, Mario, Luigi, Samus, and Kirby!

Lego Builds Of Frisk, Mettaton, Flowey, and Sans From Undertale

The popular video game Undertale has a lot of memorable characters. You have Frisk the main character, Mettaton a robotic entertainer, Flowey the flower, and the pun loving Sans. Anthony Forsberg has built this collection of Lego Undertale characters. They started out building Mettaton and then decided to include the main cast. These brick built figures are proud of their studs, which seems fitting. In a way the studs are reminiscent of the 8-bit style graphics from the game. Frisk and Sans are wonderfully three dimensional, the faces are not just flat which complicated the models and was worth the effort. Mettaton contains fully posable hands and arms and is holding a microphone. Flowey is a charming creation, especially the petals. A few custom stickers for the face, which represent the full range of emotions during the game.

Lego Pac-Man Is Ready To Eat

This little Lego Pac-Man is created by Marin Stipkovic. This design is based on the Pac-Man World video game, a 3D platforming game that came out for the Playstation in 1999. There is a long and storied past to Pac-Man in the 40 years he has been around. This Lego MOC features Pac-Man and his favorite power up, a cherry. The cherry uses some technic pieces for the stem which works very well. Pac-Man himself is wearing shoes and gloves. This version is much more detailed than the original, which was made out of what seems like twenty polygons. This version could even stand in for his recent Smash Bros. Ultimate appearance.

Super Mario Lego Gets Some Power Ups!

Lego revealed some new details about their upcoming Super Mario theme. The bluetooth enabled Mario figure will be getting a variety of Power-Up Packs. These represent a small selection of the various suits that Mario has worn through the years. There is the original power up, the Fire Suit from Super Mario Bros (1985). A bit more recent is the Propeller Suit form the New Super Mario Bros (2009). The Cat Suit from Super Mario 3D World (2013). And the most recent, the Builder Suit which first appeared in Super Mario Maker (2015). Each one of these power ups give the Lego Mario some new powers. For instance the Cat Suit lets Mario earn coins by climbing up walls. It also seems that these packs also include unique sounds and animations. If this theme takes off the next round of Power-Ups should be interesting. Something from Super Mario Odyssey perhaps? Lego has a release date set for August 1st for these, so get saving now!

The Lego Ninjago Movie Video Game Is Free!

Lego has announced that for the next few days the Lego Ninjago Movie Video Game will be free. You can go download the game now on PC, PS4, and Xbox. The game is based on the recent film and released in 2017. As the player you join Cole, Jay, Kai, Lloyd, Master Wu, Nya, and Zane as they defend the land from Lord Garmadon. The adventure takes about 10 hours, maybe a bit more if you collect every brick. The video game was released to some mixed reviews, so now is the perfect time to see if it clicks with you. Too bad that for some reason Lego and Nintendo seem to have skipped the free promotion on the Switch. Check out the links below, you can’t argue with free.

Which Side Will Prevail In This Lego Battle Of The Seasons?

Four powerful mages have been fighting it out, and it has come down to one final battle. Each mage is fighting to protect and expand their own season. This is a Battle of the Seasons, a Lego MOC created by Blue Builder. The whole scene took over four months to build, but took over two years to plan. With 73 Minifigures this battle will change the world. The idea for this build was inspired by the Heroes of Might and Magic video game series. Real time strategy games that are well known on the PC. The spring warriors feature humans, fauns, fairies, and even a dragon. The summer time is mostly humans with pegasus and other winged creatures. Fall warriors include snakes, wolves, minotaurs, and orcs. And, the deadly winter army is mostly undead, skeletons, vampires, and ghosts. The whole scene is centered around a magic scroll, setting the scene with some text: “In a battle of might and magic who will prevail…”

A neat feature in this Lego MOC is the lighting effects. Hidden behind the scroll, in the center, are multi-colored LEDs. They shine up through the transparent bricks, representing magic rivers. All combining in the center where the winners crown is perched.

The New Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Will Arrive In October!

Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has an official release date. It will arrive on October 20th, 2020 (10-20-2020 or 20-10-2020 depending on preferred style). The newest video game in the series will feature storylines from all nine films. With five levels per movie, which works out to 45 levels in game. Developed by Traveller’s Tales, the new game will have around 500 playable characters. Admiral Ackbar, Yaddle, and Zorii Bliss are just a few of those characters. The game will be available on all the current systems, Windows PC, Playstation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
