YOS Lego, Frozen Lego Anna And Elsa

Just finished watching Frozen for the millionth time and you need more? Are the Lego mini-doll figures are just not enough? Then your only option is to build your own. Which is what YOS Lego has done with their Lego Anna & Elsa (Frozen) figures. These figures have a little bit of movement to them, you can turn their heads and hands. They also feature removable arms so that you can give them different poses. Not only that but Elsa has a whole giant ice “snake” as an accessory. The details are great, just check out the hair (which is way more complicated then it looks), and check out the details on Anna’s dress.

First Image Of Lego Angry Birds Revealed: Red

Lego Angry Birds Red

The first image from the upcoming Lego Angry Birds theme has been revealed. Although not a photograph of an upcoming release, it still give a very clear impression on the direction that this theme is going. It looks like we can look forward to a whole bunch of new molds and pieces. And, it is good to see Lego not cram the Angry Birds into their Minifigure design. Then if you look at the whole wallpaper image, you can see silhouette of the Pigs. Believe it or not this red bird is named Red, and he looks like his wings can hold standard Lego accessories and also move up and down. This theme is still over 6 months away, so keep on the look out for more early reveals.

A Regal Lego Friends Princess Castle

Hrczs1's Lego Friends Princess Castle

All of the Lego Friends and Lego Disney Princess figures need a place to stay. Especially if they need to fend off a horde of baddies. This glimmering white castle is the creation of Hrczs1. It features a keep and two towers, making an amazingly compact castle. There is very little room to spare. While the overall design is compact it is tall. Creating a kind of forced perspective trick that creates the illusion of size. The design is highlighted with purple, pink, teal, and gold trim. The most charming detail is the balcony attached to the central keep/tower. It looks like something out of Sleeping Beauty. A nice detail is that Cinderella’s Carriage fits perfectly inside of the gate. See if you can spot some of the other hidden details.

Oh Joy! — It’s A Lego Joy from Inside Out

Miro Dudas Lego Inside Out Joy

Check out this Lego Joy from the Disney/Pixar film Inside Out. This Lego MOC is based on the official Joy Poster, and it is pretty accurate, maybe a little less sparkly then the movie version of Joy. The details that really stand out are the blue hair, and the shoulders. Plus there is a creative letter “O” there too. This Lego poster is created by Miro Dudas, who happened to be be inspired by the recent “Angry” Lego figure. Maybe, we will actually get all of the feelings represented in Lego soon. If you spot any more, let us know!

A Lego Anger From Pixar’s Inside Out

Angus MacLane's Lego Inside Out Anger

In the past few years Lego has been adding new pieces/molds to their collection that really help create more expressive and smooth builds. A good example is this Anger, from Disney/Pixar’s recent film Inside Out. You just wouldn’t be able to build this ten years ago. This Lego figure is spot on, and the creator Angus MacLane, has set a high bar for any more Inside Out Lego MOCs. The SNOT style building is faultless. Check out those awesome teeth, and spot on tie. It’s hard to be Angry around this guy.

“This model took me a while to get right, but it was a lot of fun to build. The arm angle and scale were particularly tricky.
The general reaction to this MOC has been, “Neat! Where are the other emotions?” I’m fairly positive that my green, light yellow, lavender, and medium blue collection is not sufficient to do so. So I’ll let that be a building challenge for the rest of you.”

Lego Promoting Unrealistic Body Image

Photo by Jonathan Hordle/REX Shutterstock (726542z)

From thedailymash, Lego ‘promoting unrealistic body image’:

“LEGO has been accused of making children covet unattainable squat, yellow bodies with c-shaped hooks for hands.

The Danish toy company was branded ‘dangerous’ and ‘irresponsible’ by a government watchdog, following complaints about the unrealistic physical standards its figures display.

Mother-of-two Donna Sheridan said: “My youngest son turned to me yesterday and said, ‘Mummy, I hope I grow up to look like a Lego man…”

MFX [F] – Aztech Deity Reborn. A Golden Lego Mech.

Lu Sim's Lego Mech MFX-F Aztech Deity Reborn

Lego has always been a place to create your own Mechs. Even Lego has been officially releasing Mechs from at least 1984. Although the official bots are usually simple, the MOCs people have been creating are breaking new ground, in detail and awesomeness. Check out this golden masterpiece, the MFX [F] – Aztech Deity Reborn. It is the third version of the Diety created by Lu Sim. This version features a golden body, with black frame. And, if you look close enough, a little bit of red. The other big change is going with a thinner, more “feminine” type mech. This golden god is just awesome.

King Joffrey, Long May He Reign! Lego Game of Thrones.

Lego Game of Thrones. King Joffrey, Long may he Reign!

Just in time for the season premiere of Game of Thrones, Guy Himber, has created King Joffrey, Long May He Reign. This television shows most infamous villain is looking appropriately evil. Some of these Lego pieces have been put to novel use. Check out the Minifigure arms, used for fingers. And, it even looks like the One Ring is adorning the top of the crown. Even in Lego you still want to slap Joffrey across his smug face.

These Lego Hedgeman Legionaries Are Adorable

KarfOohlu's Lego Hedgeman Legionaries

When they are not running super fast Hedgehogs are also conquering space. These Lego Hedgeman Legionaries consist of a Standard Bearer and Shockgun Trooper. An amazingly awesome combo of the Rock Monster Body (from the Power Miners theme) and the recent Hedgehog (from Lego Friends). It is also worth taking a closer look at the Banner, the combination of the scorpion and wing works well, as does the purple Lego purse in the Shockgun.
