A Rocko’s Modern Life Lego Build

A Rocko's Modern Life Lego Build

Everyones favorite animated wallaby has recently returned to earth after being lost in space for over 20 years. Everything seems so different since the 1990s and now Rocko has to adapt to his new modern life. This Lego MOC called “Rocko Rama” is created by Cameron. It is based on the Nickelodeon television show Rocko’s Modern Life. This Lego figure has been built for the 2020 BioCup. The challenge is to build something with the theme of “The Natural World” and “Marsupials.” The end result is completely built out of Lego. That includes the shirt, which was part of the Lego Scala theme. Even the Dodge logo being used for the nose is an official Lego sticker. The designer is really pushing their creativity, especially with the limited part availability in the tan color. You might notice that the hand have fingers built out of Minifigure arms. Maybe someday in the future Lego Rocko can find a Lego Spunky, Heffer, and Filburt to hang out and watch TV with.

90s Batman Villains As Lego Minifigures

Lego Minifigures From Batman and Batman Returns

The 80s and 90s Batman movies are pure entertainment. The Tim Burton films are wonderfully weird and dark, and the later two film perfected the big budget summer movie formula. Alex TheLegoFan has created a whole set of Batman villains as Lego Minifigures. Each film is separated into groups by their base. The Joker from Batman features the slicked back green hair, and purple suit. You can even find some goo from Axis Chemicals on the base. Batman Returns features Catwoman, Max Shriek, The Penguin all hanging out on an ice burg (accompanied by a few penguins from the old zoo).

Lego Minifigures From Batman Forever

Next up from Batman Forever, you can find The Riddler, Two-Face hanging out on a grey/white base. I wonder if they flipped a coin on who would stand where?

Lego Minifigures From Batman and Robin

The last film, Batman and Robin features Minifigures for Mr Freeze, Poison Ivy, and Bane all wrapped up in vines.

These Lego Classic Sega Arcade Machines Are Radical!

SpacySmoke Lego Classic Sega Arcade

Some of the most impressive Arcade Machines in the 1980s and 1990s were from Sega. They were the masters of the oversized deluxe cabinets. SpacySmoke has recreated some of the iconic cabinets in their Lego Sega Classic Arcade Machines series. These are built in scale for Minifigures. They would fit right in with the Lego Dimensions Midway Retro Gamer. A whole Lego arcade could be put built, where your Minifigs can spend Saturday nights.

There are four Sega Arcade machines. They are all based on the deluxe versions. One awesome detail is that these Lego MOCs replicate the movements of the real life cabinets. Out Run (one of the most famous racing games) features a Lego model that moves left and right. Just like the real game. Space Harrier (a weird shooter game) can move up, down, left, right and tilt. Thunder Blade (a helicopter game) can rotate. While Hang-On (a motorcycle game) tilts left and right.

The Blue Screen of Death is Terrifying in Lego

LegoJalex Lego Computer Blue Screen

It does not matter if it is in Lego or in the real world, the blue screen of death is terrifying. Anyone who used a Windows computer in the 90s knows this all too well. This little creation is the work of LegoJalex. The Minifigure scale computer is perfect, and best of all pretty simple to build. It is easy to overlook the computer chair, but it too is great. Now if only the guy can get everything restarted, he can continue closing Real Player download windows.

Cool Lego Ice Planet 2002 Art by Mr–Jack

Lego Ice Planet 2002, Mr--Jack

Ice Planet is one of the odd 1990’s space themes. It first showed up in 1993, and its cool blue and orange color palette was a huge change when compared to the previous space theme, Space Police II. Commander Cold and his research team had to withstand the hostile planet of Krysto. Equipped with trans-orange chainsaws, the most bad ass weapon Lego has ever molded, the team set out to science.

Even though Ice Planet only lasted one year it managed to make a huge impression on many people. Mr–Jack recently created this amazing painting, inspired by this cool Lego theme.  The giant research vehicle in the background is impressive.

Custom Lego Spawn, Al Simmons has never looked better.

GreenPeaToys's Custom Lego Spawn

Spawn is one of the most recognizable super heroes out there. Certainly one of the most famous from the 1990’s. This Lego version of Spawn is uncanny, and keeps the spirit of the original Todd McFarlane design intact. Al Simmons has never looked better. The red cape is the star (as it is in the comic) and the top portion looks great. It would be neat to see Lego start to introduce two piece capes like this. I wonder what a Malebolgia, Angela, the Violator, Sam, or Twitch would look like Lego-ized.
