This Lego Baby Yoda Is Full Of Cuteness + Instructions

Lego Baby Yoda from the Mandalorian, by hachiroku24

There are so many lego Baby Yoda builds out there, and this is one of the best. This cute little guy was built by hachiroku24. It is completely made out of Lego parts. The key pieces are the ears, which are from a recent Lego Elves set (part 11089). They did make a small cheat, the 2×2 rounds with a hole, near the ears, have been photoshopped to match the rest of Yoda. Below you can see him being built.

You Probably Won’t Lose A Finger In This Lego Woodshop Stop Motion Video

Lego Woodshop Stop Motion Video

A woodshop is an inherently dangerous place. They are full of sharp and pointy tools ready to stab an eye out or chop a finger off. But, a Lego woodshop is slightly more safe (as long as you meet the restriction: ages 5+). BrickBrosProductions imagines what this would look like. They have produced a 3 minute and 27 second Lego stop motion video. Starting with blueprints and unfinished lumber; after a lot of hard work they end up with something new.

Some of the highlights include sanding, chiseling, and painting. All done with Lego. Check out their video below or over here: https://youtu.be/930TWN-_6og

Lego Batman vs Joker At The Art Deco Gotham Theater

Paul Hetherington Lego Batman Gotham vs Joker, Gotham Theater Showdown

There are a whole bunch of Lego Batman MOCs out there (click here). And for some reason people put a whole lot of time creating some of the most massive Lego scenes out there (see this one, and this one). The great thing is that there is always room for more. Check out this beautiful Lego MOC, titled “Lego Batman vs Joker Gotham Theater Showdown” built by Paul Hetherington. The scene depicts an epic fight between Batman, Robin, and Joker in the streets of Gotham. This MOC is essentially three smaller builds in one. The center piece is the Art Deco styled Gotham Theater, there is the street and trolly outside, and there is a huge brick built background. There is even a detailed story:

“Once again that Mad Harlequin of Hate, The Joker, brings menace to the citizens of Gotham. Beware as the Streetcar named Destruction advances into Gotham, and the Joker’s henchmen unleash horrible Joker Gas! Listen to the eerie dreadful laughing — has the Joker taken control of everyone?!? Wait — look above – that symbol of justice descending from the sky — The Batcopter! Piloted by the plucky Robin, The Boy Wonder and the courageous Batman! Are the tornado team of crime crushers in time to oppose the Grim Jester in the gripping tale of — Gotham Theater Showdown!”

Paul Hetherington has created one of the most beautiful Lego Art Deco style buildings. The Gotham Theater was originally inspired by Marbro Theater of Chicago (sadly torn down in 1964). This build features a limited palette of beige, brown, black, and gold detailing. Check out all of the unique patterns and textures on the facade.

Gotham Theater Power Functions Video

The Lego Batman vs Joker Gotham Theater Showdown has a secret. Power functions have been built into the scene and carefully hidden. The street car moves back and forth. The Joker is moving/aiming the balloon cannon up and down. The cops are all laughing out of control, spinning and falling down. And the Batcopter is hovering/twirling in place amid all this chaos.

Everything Wrong With The Lego Movie

Everything Wrong With The Lego Movie

The Lego Batman movie is almost here, and it is a perfect time to reflect on the past. Lets all take a moment and remember what was wrong with the Lego movie. This 15 minute video is also a great way to catch up on the first Lego film.

“After two years, you might have given up hope we’d ever sin this animated masterpiece, but here we are… sinning it… mostly because LEGO Batman is coming out soon. And because no movie is without sin and stuff.”

The World Needs Heroes – A Lego Overwatch Collection

shm03337 Lego Overwatch Project

The super popular video game Overwatch has at least 23 characters, and that number is growing. With the newest being Sombra. Many people have been building Lego Overwatch MOCs based on these characters for a while now. Lego builder shm03337 has been creating a whole collection of Overwatch heroes. They have currently built nine, which seems like a lot but is not even half of them. This is a huge project.

The group consists of Lego versions of D.Va, Bastion, Torbjorn, Soldier 76, Mercy, Reaper, Pharah, Reinhardt, and Genji. The D.Va stands out for just how much work went into it. Not only did shm03337 build the character but they also built her mech suit. D.Va can also fit inside the suit, with some “slight” modifications to the Lego figure (removing legs). Then there is Bastion who has his Lego bird, Torbjorn with his awesome beard, Mercy’s wingspan, and Reinhardt’s huge hammer. There are so many characters, so if you do not see your favorite it might be added at a later time.

Begin Your Watch With These Videos

There is also a good 6 minute video that shows off all the little details for these Lego Overwatch characters. This was put together after the first 7 heroes where built, so a few of the newer ones are missing. It is a must watch video, especially to see how they all work.

There are also a lot of videos documenting each Lego MOC hero. You can find the D.Va video embedded below. It covers the design, and features of the build. And even shows how D.Va fits inside the mech. Check out their YouTube channel for all the videos.

The Lego Arkham Asylum MOC – Expanded For New Inmates

durazno_33 Lego Batman Arkham Asylum MOC 01

Lego Batman has a new movie coming out and that means that all of Gotham City is getting ready for new adventures. Here is an expanded Arkham Asylum based on the official Lego set; Arkham Asylum Breakout (10937). Created by durazno_33 in celebration of The Lego Batman Movie. This MOC will be added to a larger display in Feburary; a part of a project by the AFOL club, Cactus Brick. The whole build is based on the modular style. Each piece of the building can be removed easily, which makes it perfect for transport. The Asylum sits on six total base plates. Which is much larger then the Breakout set. Speaking of breaking out, it looks like Poison Ivy and Mr. Freeze are in the middle of an escape. But, Batman and Robin will shut that down. All of which might just be a distraction from the real break out. Joker and Harley Quinn.

Giant Pikachu Says Hello! – 25,000 Lego Bricks

Game Mania Lego Giant Pikachu

If those other Lego Pikachu MOCs were too small for you, then this is the one you have been looking for. Dirk Van Haesbroeck was commissioned by Game Mania, a Dutch video game store, to build two giant Pikachu models. The end product stood 1.5 meters tall, which is just about 5 feet tall. Each giant Pikachu model is built with just over 25,000 Lego pieces. In the end it looks like these models were auctioned off for charity, with one of them going for €3,500, or $3,700. That puts it at 15¢ per piece.

The model is mostly hollow inside, but there is some supporting structure hidden around. In the build video (below) you can see a system of Technic pieces were used to hold Pikachu’s massive tail.

The New Lego Batmobile Is Built By Chevy?

Lego Batman Batmobile Chevy

In one of the weirder marketing moments of this new year, it has been revealed that the new Lego Batmobile is “built by Chevy.” There is even an official website. It looks like Lego Batman paid $48,000,000 for  his new wheels. It has 120,000 lbs. max towing capacity, 20,000 horsepower, and comes equipped with 4G-LTE connectivity. Also listed as features are flame rocket boosters, fully-articulated wheels, and a standard 60.2L V100 engine. The Batmobile can operate in three modes. Race Mode, Monster Truck Mode, and Parallel Park Mode. The only downside… it seats 2 Minifigures.

Lego Batmobile Chevy Web

“Every angle, sharp as a tack. Every element, handcrafted for hot pursuit. When dreaming up the LEGO® Batmobile, designers drew inspiration from a combination of classic renditions and other-worldly shapes. The result? An enemy-evading machine that will draw stares and fend off foes in equal measure.”

Lego Island: A 3D Action Adventure CD-ROM Game. Reviewed!

Lego Island Review LGR

Lego Island was the first PC Lego game way back in 1997. It proved a success with over 1 million copies sold and multiple awards. The game described itself as: “There is so much to do on Lego Island: building, racing, flying, water jetting, skateboarding, and just kickin’ with your firends… unless you accidentally let the Brickster out of jail.” The video game had a small cast of characters. The police officer Nick Brick, police officer Laura Brick, the pizza delivery dude Pepper, the pizza chef Papa Brickolini, music and pizza fan Mama Brickolini, and finally the Infomaniac. This game oozes with mid 90’s attitude. The forced attitude that only companies at the time thought was cool.

Check out this review, by Lazy Game Reviews (LGR) of Lego Island. It is a very unique piece of Lego history.
