Christophsis, A Planet From Star Wars The Clone Wars

Lego Christophsis, A Planet From Star Wars The Clone Wars

Star Wars and its universe encompass many many planets. Hundreds of them, and if you count the non-canon “Expanded Universe” it might even be thousands. This Lego MOC titled “Christophsis” is the creation of Elven Ranger. It features a Lego version of one of those Star Wars planets. Christophsis was first depicted in The Clone Wars, around 2008. It is located along the Outer Rim and is a planet known or its huge crystalline forests. This little out of the way location ended up being of huge importance, being the site of many battles. The Lego version is a great 16×16 stud scene. The build feature a great hexagonal floor pattern with bricks laid out on their side. The whole scene also contain blue and green crystals which create a very alien looking Lego MOC.

The Balaenoptera Levosia, A Lego Flying Whale

The Balaenoptera Levosia, A Lego Flying Whale

There is something about a flying whale. The idea comes up again and again. In books, music, art, film and tv. The contrasting ideas of these massive mammals floating as light as a bird through the sky creates a very mysterious awe-inspiring image. This Lego MOC is titled “Balaenoptera Levosia” and is the creation of Tim Schwalfenberg. It features a huge Lego whale flying through the Eastern Cloud Sea. With a Pandarian Merchant Guild member piloting the majestic animal. Some of the great details shown here include the double barrel barrels, the boat sails being used as rolls of paper/cloth, and the elaborate saddle/seat system.

Can’t Miss This Lego Bus

Lego Bus Rapid KL

A good public transit system is a necessity in our society. Taking people to and from all sorts of destinations. Lego people also need to go places, and any good Lego city needs at least one bus. There have been many official Lego bus sets released but none as detailed as this Lego MOC. This bus the creation of The Eleventh Bricks. It is a recreation of one of the Rapid Kuala Lumpur Busses. A lot of custom made decals/stickers help to lend this build realism. Not only is the exterior a great build, but it has a fully detailed interior too. Holding a lot of Minifigures, 25 to be exact, just like a real bus. Each seat can recline and there is even a signal cord. All built with about 500 Lego pieces. The whole MOC is fully lighted with headlights, taillights, break lights, and interior lights. This is one good looking Lego Bus, even at night.

The New Narrative Of Lego Westworld

Lego Westworld

Westworld is an interesting show. Originally based off a book by Michael Crichton. The newest version is a complicated narrative about humans and androids. While navigating the amoral Wild West, everyone seems to be trying to solve The Maze. A way to unlock the trapped android mind. This collection of Lego Westworld themed Minifigures is the creation of XxDeadmanzZ. Almost all the main characters have been represented here: Maeve Millay, William, Teddy Flood, Bernard Lowe, Opening Credits Figure, Robert Ford, Dolores Abernathy, The Man in Black, Logan, and Hector Escaton. Can any of them escape, or are they stuck in the new narrative?

Take Command With These Lego Warhammer 40k Ultramarines

Lego Warhammer 40k Ultramarines

This squad of Lego Warhammer 40k Ultramarines is the creation of funnystuffs. These soldiers are outfitted in some of the best power armour (armor?) around. The iconic blue and gold color scheme is perfectly recreated with Lego. A lot of work has been done here to keep these MOCs small. Each Ultramarine also has unique armor. They come equipped with all sorts of weapons, such as a giant sword, huge energy axe, various guns, and even a powered chainsaw sword. A story can be told based on these little details. Check out the marine with the replacement leg. The build also contains a few custom features, a lot of little decals, and even custom molded helmets for three of the marines.

The Canon EOS 5D Lego Camera

The Canon EOS 5D Lego Camera

The Canon EOS 5D Mark IV is one of the most popular DSLR camera in the current market. It is only fitting that someone would recreate it in Lego. This Lego Canon camera is the creation of Sheo. Everything is made of lego but the camera strap. The lens, viewfinder, and even the mirror are all lego. The use of some custom decals really helps to recreate the original. The camera features all of its ports and access points. It has lego memory cards, a lego battery, and lego USB ports. The viewfinder is on and showing the subject, a house, which is also made up of lego. I wonder if this MOC was photographed on a real EOS 5D?

Hanging Out With Doctor Strange And Iron Man

“No mojo this time buddy!” - Lego Doctor Strange and Iron Man

Even Tony Stark gets tired of hanging out in his Hall of Armor. Sometimes he just needs a break. Who better to hang out with than Dr. Stephen Strange. This Lego MOC is titled “No mojo this time buddy!” and is the creation of Lego_nuts. A simple chess game between friends in a cozy library. The lighting in this scene is perfect. Well lit, well balanced, and the backlight coming in through the windows makes it feel real. Check out all the little details. There is Doctor Strange’s Cloak of Levitation, and I’m sure the Book of the Vishanti is around somewhere. The shelves hide a treasure map, newspaper, and a letter or two. The grandfather clock, and old time camera are also great mini builds. It is Iron Man VS. Doctor Strange, and the only question left is who will win.

Classic Space Pirates Are Plundering The Moon

Lego Classic Space Pirates On The Moon

“ARRRR! The Space Pirates are here to plunder yer moon treasures.”

This Classic Space Pirates Lego MOC is a creation by captainsmog. Built as an entry into the MOC Wars 2020, category 23, Thar Be Pirates. The goal is to take any of the Lego themes and add pirates. The scene features an innocent Spaceman being hunted down by a small group of space pirates. The star of the build is the space ship. (Or is it a land space ship?) The six wheel vessel is manned by the four meanest pirates this side of Luna. Being lead into battle by a mean skeleton spaceman figurehead. The classic blue and yellow design is a perfect fit and makes everything feel old. Perfect for a pirate theme. What kind of treasure could they be hunting for? Maybe the are on a quest for the fabled moon cheese.

Having A Lego Melt Down Over Ice Cream

Lego Melt Down Over Ice Cream

Dropping an ice cream cone can quickly lead to some extreme emotions. This Lego “Melt Down” MOC is the creation of ForlornEmpire. Built as an entry to the MOC Wars 2020, for Category 13: I’m Melting. The scene has been captured well, you can almost hear the screaming in person. In a weird way, the best detail are the tears running down the face. The eyebrows are also well done. Using two different lego elements really emphasizes the extreme emotion. This girl must be careful or she will melt right down that storm drain. The whole scene reminds me of those Garbage Pail Kids cards from the 1980s.

A Mysterious Figure Approaches The Group

A Mysterious Figure Approaches

There is that moment in fantasy, when the adrenaline is running high, and a group has to decide: “Can we trust you?” Generally the answer is no. There is nothing more dangerous than an unknown person crashing your party. Do they want help, a place to stay the night, are they a messenger, what do they want? This Lego MOC is called “A mysterious figure approaches…” and is the creation of Mark of Falworth. There are a lot of small details to take in. The palm tree places this scene in a coastal area. It is a great lego palm tree with more brown 1×1 slopes than you can count. Also check out the uneven stonework in the ruins, and the curve of the terrain created with stacked plates. This is a great lego scene that brings a lot of story telling potential with it.
