The Adventure Time Project, A Lego land of Ooo at Lego CUUSOO

Lego and Adventure Time are an almost perfect match. Fans of both have been hoping for Lego to pick up an official license. Jazlecraz has created an incredibly detailed Lego CUUSOO project based on Adventure Time. This is the best way to get Lego to notice the demand for Adventure Time. There are currently over 9,000 supporters for this project, and when it hits 10,000 Lego has to officially review the proposal and make a decision. Lego has officially commented on the Adventure Time Project, and noted that no new molds would be created for a CUUSOO project. Meaning that the minifigures have been set aside in favor for a micro scale theme. Everybody would still love to see Finn, Jake, BMO, Marceline, Princess Bubblegum, Ice King, and Lemongrab get their own microfigures.

The Adventure Time Project is focused on created one amazing micro scale Tree Fort. Consisting of about 400 Lego pieces in its current incarnation. This means that it would fit in with the current $34.99 price point that Lego has favored for their CUUSOO theme. There are also six micro scale Lego sets that have been added as a bonus. Showing what could be done if this becomes a full theme. One thing is certain, if these were real there would be a whole lot of Finn and Jake figures.

The Micro Ice Castle features Finn, Jake, the Ice King, Penguins, and the Wildberry Princess.
Marceline’s House would feature Finn, Jake, Marceline, Ice King, and Princess Bubblegum.

Micro Lumpy Space would feature Finn, Jake, Princess Bubblegum, the Lumpy Space Princess and the Lumpy Space King.
Castle Lemongrab would feature Finn, Jake, Princess Bubblegum, Lemongrab, and Lemongrab 2.

The Micro Candy Castle would beature Finn, Jake, Princess Bubblegum, Lady Rainicorn, and two other figures (I don’t know their names!).
And finally, the Micro Tree Fort would feature Finn, Jake, BMO, Princess Bubblegum, Marceline, and the Ice King.

Lego Minecraft: The Village & Lego Minecraft: The Nether Available Now

Lego Minecraft is one of those perfect themes. The two come together to create some of the best Lego sets of all time. The Lego Minecraft Micro World set is easily one of the best selling Lego sets of last year. Often selling out of stock once the set had been replenished. Lego has noticed, and has been continually “reprinting” the original Minecraft set. Now Lego has officially released two new sets in the Minecraft theme. Making this the first CUUSOO project to graduate into a full theme. The new Lego Minecraft: The Village and Lego Minecraft: The Nether are now available through Lego and Amazon.

The early reviews are starting to show up, and are generally forming the opinion that these new sets are great. Perfect for anyone who enjoyed the original. Check out the details at Amazon:

How the DeLorean Effect changed CUUSOO @ Brick Fanatics

Lego has been running the Lego CUUSOO project for a couple of years now. Most Lego fans are familiar with the site, but may not know just where it came from. Brick Fanatics has written up a great article containing the history of the CUUSOO project and where it is going. It all started as a tiny side project from Japan and is currently on the verge of becoming mainstream. All thanks to a little Lego DeLorean (and Minecraft).

“Originally only available in Japan, the user created ideas website was a joint venture between CUUSOO and The LEGO Group and allowed Japanese LEGO fans to submit their ideas to The LEGO Group in a more formal way. Lego Back To The Future DeLorean (21103) – Get It Before You’re OUTATIME.

The Lego CUUSOO: Back To The Future DeLorean (21103) is currently for sale on Amazon. The DeLorean is destined to become one of those special legendary Lego sets. Make sure to pick it up early. Who knows how many of these Lego is planning on making. It may be tough to find, but keep checking Amazon in case they get new shipments (Just like the Minecraft set). It is currently $34.99 and shipping in 1-2 days.

The Great Neuschwanstein Castle in Lego

Neuschwanstein Castle might be the most famous castle on Earth. A Romanesque Revival castle located in Germany, near the village of Hohenschwangau. The castle construction completed relatively late, in the year 1892. Since then, this little castle has made appearances in the films: Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Ludwig, and Ludwig II. But, most importantly it was the original insperation for Disneyland’s Sleeping Beauty’s Castle.

This Lego Neuschwanstein Castle is the creation of T-Bone, who put a whole lot of hard work into it. Not only has the color scheme been carefully thought out, but the details and design are accurate to the real life castle. Every window, door, tower, and room is accurate. Where there should be 5 windows, as on the real Neuschwanstein Castle, there are 5 windows in this Lego MOC. T-Bone even got the tree and pavement details correct.

Also note the extremely well made micro carriage with horses in the castles entrance.
