Lego Back To The Future: DeLorean Time Machine — Release Details

Lego has finally released some official details about the upcoming Back to the Future: DeLorean Time Machine set. Almost two years ago this project started out on the Lego CUUSOO website. The DeLorean quickly earned its 10,000 votes and was surprisingly approved by Lego for release. There have been no details between the announcement and now. BrickFanatics quickly discovered this announcement from a Lego store newsletter. The Lego Back to the Future: DeLorean Time Machine will be released on July 18th!

Maybe Lego has been quiet on this for so long because the build has changed so much. Some would argue that it is noticeably more ugly. Also, no news on a Marty McFly, or Emmett Brown (Doc) minifig.

New Lego Architecture set: United Nations Headquarters (21018)

Lego Architecture United Nations Headquarters 21018

It looks like the next set in the Architecture theme will be the United Nations Headquarters (21018). This set has a lot of creative details. The little Lego joysticks/levers for flagpoles, a technic brick for a fountain, and little Lego grill pieces set together for windows.

This years Architecture sets have all been great. With the Imperial Hotel (21017) and the Leaning Tower of Pisa (21015) being released so far, it will be interesting to see what else Lego will release this winter.
