Be On The Lookout With This Eurasian Pygmy Lego Owl

Eurasian Pygmy Lego Owl

This is a Lego version of the Eurasian Pygmy Owl. These cute little owls are particular, they like to hang out in forests, prefer cold weather, and likes the mountains. This Lego Owl probably prefers to hang out on your shelf, or bookcase. This Eurasian Pygmy Owl is the creation of Cyclopic Bricks as an entry into the MOC Wars; category 15: Little Big Animal. The rules for the challenge was to “Build a non-fictional small animal at a large scale. Does not have to be 1:1.” One of the best details is that the head is able to turn, just like a real owl. The little bird is perched on a mossy tree branch, lending the finished creation a more dynamic pose. Check out the skeleton feet around the beak, they are a great detail.

Get Inked With This Lego Squid Sub

Lego Squid Sub

Somewhere between retrofuturism and the atomic age swims this lego Squid Sub. A creation of Peter Carmichael. The submarine is an entry into MOC Wars 2020, specifically challenge 19: “Seafaring Is Needed.” The guidelines for the challenge include a swimming vessel, and a witty defense mechanism. Check out some of the details, there is jelly fish on the left, the ink cloud being released, and the colorful coral. The best feature are the 2 pilots, never have lego minifigures been more excited to be exploring the deep sea. Although, it looks like they could use a martini.

Just A Lego Chicken And TRex

Lego Chicken

This lego chicken is spectacular. The details on the feathers, legs, and head are all spot on. Note the use of Bionicle pieces used to build the chickens comb. Although the little chicken is the star, its distant relative the TRex is great too. This is the creation of timofey_tkachev, and is titled “What has become of us?!” It is a part of an MOC challenge called the Builder’s Battle to “”build an object or living creature from one era which landed in another one, totally different era.”
