Lego Minifigures Series 14 is still on shelves, the Halloween theme is a tough(er) sell after October. The good news is that Series 15 (71011) is on its way. With a January 2016 release date the first official images have started to appear online. This time they are going with an eye-popping orange color scheme. Lego is also sticking to the (slightly expensive) $3.99 price point.
This time the sixteen Minifigs include: a golden Winged Warrior, an Animal Control Officer & Skunk, a Robot, a Janitor, a Jewel Thief, a Farmer & Pig, an Astronaut, a Black Knight, a Faun/Satyr, a Happy (Left) Shark, a Queen, a Wrestler, a Dancer, a Native American Mother, a Kendoka, and wounded Clumsy Man.

Winter is here, which means peaceful white landscapes, bitter cold, and a lot of hard work shoveling. Hornet Razvan has created a charming Lego Microscale Winter Vignette. An iconic red building is the center piece, but the giant clouds and snow Lego built background is what makes this stand out. There are even some extremely tiny cars trying to drive, and two little snowplows keeping the roads safe.
Hornet Razvan created this Lego MOC for the Winter 2015 Brickenburg contest, and won 1st place. Check it out over here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/razvy_cluj_ro/23414471601/

It sounds like an official Lego Ghostbusters Headquarters (75827) will be released in 2016! Over on YouTube, just2good released this scoop (here). The upcoming set will be impressive. The Firehouse will contain well over 4,000 pieces and cost somewhere near $350. This puts it in the same category as the Deathstar or the recent Avengers Helicarrier in terms of scope. The whole thing should open up, and be relatively modular. It will be interesting to see if it can fit in with the ever popular Modular Buildings theme. Good news, even though the release is 2016, the wait won’t be too long. The Headquarters should be released on January 1st, 2016.
