There is also the iconic space console, which is painted on a 14″ canvas using the same methods and materials as the spaceman. The Lego French Classical Stage is a Lego Ideas project created by Campistron1984. The stage is based on the Théâtre du Palais-Royal, a French theatre in the seventeenth century. This one has been set up to feature the Molière Comedies, and if you want you can build and create new backdrops to host any number of shows. The back of the theatre can easily be switched out. This Lego MOC comes equipped with a salon set, a dinning room, and a bedroom set. Also feature are a couple of trap doors, so you can fool even the most skeptical Minifigure. On the Lego Ideas page you can also view a set based on Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, to get an idea of how this thing works.

A Real Lego Minifigure Cosplay At SDCC

Tested Real Lego Minifigure SDCC

“Our latest project with Frank Ippolito lives at the intersection of creepy and amazing. For this year’s Comic-Con, Frank designed, sculpted, and painted a LEGO-inspired mask, made to look like a real-life version of a minifig. We’re calling it the creeppyfig, and it found its way home wandering through Comic-Con’s exhibit hall.”

The team over at Tested, created a real Lego Minifigure. And, it is amazing. They then walked the convention floor at the 2016 San Diego Comic Con (SDCC). The best part is Frank getting comfortable in the official Lego both. After you get past the beady eyes, and clammy skin.

An American Gothic Lego Mosaic

Cole Edmonson's Lego Mosaic American Gothic

American Gothic is one of the most iconic paintings of the 20th century. It has been recreated and reimagined in almost every way imaginable. Cole Edmonson has created a huge Lego mosaic of the painting. It measures in at 36.25″ x 30″ which makes it a little larger then the original painting. It’s always good to see a Lego mosaic in actual bricks rather then computer rendered.

A Lego Color Chart, Can You Find Any Missing?

Jeremy Moody's Lego Color Chart

Have you ever wondered how many colors Lego has in its collection? There are probably more then you thought. Jeremy Moody has made it his mission to collect and catalog every released color. Some of these colors go back decades, and are extremely rare.

“Here is my chart of all known named LEGO colors. This started as an attempt to collect colors of 2x4s, and turned into collecting every color in as close as possible to the size and shape of a 2×4. There are some color names LEGO is known to have used, not included in this chart. However, it is unknown what parts or sets were ever made in those colors, or if they were used at all beyond trial pieces.”
