Record players come in all sorts of different shapes and styles. Some are big and boxy, while others can look like a toy VW Bus. One of the newest styles is the Spinbox. A cardboard based player that you can assemble yourself. The whole package has everything you need including speakers, an amp, knobs, and all the electronics needed to get it working. It takes about 15 minutes to get it up and running. This Lego version of the Spinbox is created by jhuangtw. This version of the vinyl record player is also surprisingly detailed. A Lego Minifigure pistol is used to make the cartridge and needle, with a simple arm attaching it to the base. A neat feature is that you can take it apart and can find a fully detailed interior. The end result looks great, and makes a great display piece. A brick built figure would be happy to listen to one of these turntables.
